Nice one bro haha, that's what this is all about! :pighug:

About dyring the ice water hash, I did not know this, so definitely a cool feature?
How would you use it then?

Cheers

I haven't really looked that far into the procedures in how you would do it. I would assume you would spread it relatively thin and I'm pretty sure it has a setting for hash.

You’ll probably have to develop your own procedure to dry hash…. There’s no specific setting… you can adjust temperature and dew point up and down, adjust the dry/cure length, and turn the slope feature to step. Other than that, you’re on your own. I imagine if you spread the hash out on a parchment or silicone, and go through a default dry cycle would get you there…. Although simply spreading it out and storing it in the unit on “standby” setting would probably do it, given the proper amount of time…. Since there’s no plant material to pull water from, you’re just basically drying the trichomes off…. :pass:

I really don't think it's going to be a big deal. I think the most important thing is not to overload it. And if you have too much ice water hash , you can just freeze it! You can then later process it!

No matter what, it's gonna help me make a better product and do it in a easier manner. And it'll definitely give me flexibility! I like having all options possible available !

Edit................. It was this or getting the ExtractCraft. Well that's definitely still on the agenda, I'm still pretty leery of tinctures. That it's all because of that tincture I made from my RSO that I made for my classmate that had terminal cancer. That stuff is potent as hell!:face::haha::haha::haha::haha:

Early morning check shows all the 5 gallon pot girls will need watering today and the three gallon in the 3x3 tent.
Going to continue with hitting the ferments. I think I'm going to go ahead and do another CowCal dose, FFJ and Aminos...... all at regular dosage rates. I don't think a dose of Recharge would hurt either.

All those machines are not cheap, but as long as they work and do their job properly its all fine! :headbang:
I do think they are a bit overpriced for the product that you get. But we all know that there's always that cannabis bump that some manufacturers do for things we use on our pretty little plant.

Like everything I've done from the beginning, my additional purchases and growing cannabis are for flexibility, quality and production. This device will aid in all three.

All the 5 gallon pot girls got fully watered. The only difference from above was a splash of Medina horticultural molasses, to feed the microbes.
All the girls in the 4x4 tent got pulled out again and I secured the carbon filter a bit better. Each girl got some additional support added and adjusted. I swap the two right hand girls and put the more narrow one up front to give the big girl a bit more room.

Girls are just doing their thing!:headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:

The 3 5 gallon girls in the 4x4 tent were the ones to get water and feed.
They took a total of two and a half gallons.
The feed today consists of the following:
FAA at 3 tablespoons
FPJ at 3 tablespoons
Amino acid at two teaspoons
EM1 at two ounces

I felt it was time to go ahead and begin using up we last of the store bought worm castings.

I gave each girl the same amount and several handfuls. I also went ahead and applied some to the big girl

After I applied the worm castings, the girls got top watered and washed the worm castings down through the top layer of the straw and hay.

I finished up watering the girls with roughly 5 cups of bottom watering in the tray.

This tent is a fine example of bigger pots make bigger buds. They all get the exact same feed and on days when they get off cycle and I still try to maintain the same feed.

I'm pretty sure that these five gallon girls are pretty much maxed out in what the roots can handle organically. I'm trying to keep the feed as Diverse is possible in order to take advantage of any different nutrient availability at any time and maximize the possibility of absorption and utilization by the roots.

I'm drawing that conclusion by the condition of the leaves. While the overall condition of the leaves is quite good, there are some leaves with Slight issues, but they are very few.

Big potted girl on the other hand is just cruising along, even though her bud production is substantially more than the other girls. She does have a much larger proportional root system to draw from than the other pots.

It would be kind of interesting to see the outcome of two different methods.

One method would be fill the tent with 5GALLON pots and veg them to a size more appropriate to that pot.

The other method would be putting four 15 gallon pots And veg them to about the same size as the current big potted girl.\

Net training with both methods!

Looking great Bill. I'm a believer of incorporating bottom watering. I start with the bottom and finish with top.

Thanks! I appreciate it!

I top water first to make sure that the top layer maintains a good moisture level for the top dressings to be fully microbial and biologically active. I always add a surfactant to all of my open pot watering.

I'm extremely methodical about how I proceed. Quite OCD!:haha:

1. In the first round of watering, I mainly concentrate on watering the outer edge of the pot, especially with Rain Science bags. Now I do that to all the bags and then come back to the first.

2. The next two rounds are just filling in and covering the entire surface.

3. I then give the water sufficient time to migrate down through the media. I then come back and add water to the tray and observe how quickly it is absorbed. That way, I can make sure each individual pot gets fully watered, even with the girls running with different water demands. I usually finalize the watering using memory weight to tell when the girl is fully watered.

I use that procedure on all the pots that I have and it works well, even with pots of different construction.

Watering your girls is definitely a skill that you need to master! Getting yourself set up with a set procedure, no matter how you do it, is your best bet to be consistent in your watering. Consistency is definitely key to good health of your girls!
