The males have started showing.....and they are coming straight out.............:muahaha:...the chickens Love them

I don't need the cross...coz the bigger girls on the left of the row are fully seeded.
My chickens are pot heads too! I found out a few years ago when I left a few potted plants under the sun for the day. Got home and all that was left were stems!

Moved the rehydrated coco today.
100 liters of it was buffered at site.
The coco was about half a mile from the plot!
I moved it two bags at a time and in all made 10 journeys back and forth!
So that's 5 miles walking with a heavy enough load 50% of the time the walking back empty handed was much easier!
In total I moved 320 liters of coco.

I'm glad that part is over.
Next I will will mix it with the other soil building goodies and some of the clay soil that I will dig out to have the pots semi buried.

The tools I use have to fit in a 20 liter back pack.
@Mossy you know I couldn't find a garden fork that would collapse or break down, in order to fit in my pack!
Well I made my own (sort of) I bought a micro fork (75 Cm) and drilled out a rivet and used nut an bolt to secure it.
Job done!

Some items are small enough to fit as they are.
Long handled secateurs, the handles have been shortened.
Fork, the middle rivet was drilled out and a nut and bolt was added.
Rake screws together in 5 sections ( the head and four handle pieces).
Folding spade, folds out.
Folding saw, folds out.
Earth spike tool, screws together.
Mini mattock and pick, fits together in two parts, held together by friction.

Tools put together and unfolded!

Getting this grow together has been a long drawn out affair but bit by bit, piece by piece, I'm getting there!

Using the same instinctive meds as we do.........'cept they don't get arrested for it....... :headbang:

Wanna few stems cells with that too, with a pint'o'blood chaser!
I still got the beans but not as much sauce as I used to have!
Not so much "as fit as a butchers dog" these days, more like "as fit as a fishmongers cat"!
I still get the job done but you don't want to smell my paws!

This is how I feel after all that humping!

I just found this online!
It uses a special language from London town England!
I believe it is called "Coggerknee"!
I used a translator and it means......
I am "cream crackered" = "knackered"
Just take a "butchers hook" = "look"
You Brits have a funny way of talkin!:haha:
If that ain’t a fact, God’s a possum.

Gods own Country!
Although Texas has a lot of flat land, out here in the West we do have a few hills and mountains!
This pic was taken at least 4 miles from the plot, so no worries on anyone stumbling on it!
Now you can see what a chore it can be walking up that hill (similar to the one in the picture) with all my tools and soil amendments!
Well that's it for this post yawl, it’s just about time to put out the fire and call in the dogs.

@Green Hornet thanks for the rep slap :slap: :d5::pass:
Thanks for the kind words!
Planning and prep are the key to success.
However I'm not as young as I once was and it is getting to be a real chore doing it all on foot!
In the future I really must get some mode of transport.
