Indoor Come visit Wild Bill's Medical Grow Room!!!!

I decided to do some top dressing and also a little bit of training.
Says it was this late in the Grow, I didn't want to get too complicated. I'll lay down two tablespoons of Craft blend karma three tablespoons of bat guano and the input a layer of lobster compost on top of all that.

I also felt she either needed a defoliation or some training. I thought training would do her the best, I really didn't want to do any defoliation. The end results were a more open plant with more buds directly exposed to the light.

Before

And if you look right about here .............................................................^you can see where another volunteer has come up, no telling when. The only discolored leaves are the older siblings, you can see either side of the small Seedling.

And after

IMG_20250117_145027614.jpg

I think she may have another three weeks left in her. It just kind of depends on how she reacts once I put her under the HLG 200 in the smaller tent.

The volunteer pot got fully watered this morning.
Witches brew was fairly simplistic.
Humic acid and Surfactant as always
One teaspoon of BuildABloom
One teaspoon of CowCal
One teaspoon of Coconut Water Powder
One tea spoon of Recharge.

I slowly watered it in with the sprayer to make sure the top dressings got fully saturated with the surfactant.

I think I've seen a little bit of Crazy S1 at the top node spacing of the outer branches. They seem to be a little closer facing and a little further down than just Asian haze itself.
She straightened herself out a little bit from yesterday's training.

Edit................. She was also seeing just under 1200 PPFD. So I raised the light and now she's seeing just over 1000ppfd.
If you look in the second picture you can see a couple of these doing the side curl at the end of the center leaf.

@Antonio_DutchPassion Here's a bit more explanation on what I was doing to separate the seeds.

I've been putting this off for quite a bit. It's just been a little bit difficult to sit for long periods of time.
So I have this huge seed harvest from the two girls I pollinated of Asian haze. Let them go as long as possible so I can get the most mature seeds. There are quite a few of immature seeds in the mix.

I wasn't going to build or buy something to separate the seeds based on Winnowing. But I can take advantage of the same basic principles of light seed being immature. Static electricity is what I chose.

So I took one of the big hard plastic trays that I'll be using for the big 20 gallon pots and a microfiber towel to help generate the static electricity. It's definitely a lot easier to do in winter time with cooler temperatures and lower humidity. When I first started it seemed like the entire tray was dancing!

I had already separated the seeds from the remaining bud material with a combination of shaking the tray and using the static electricity. With the amount of seeds that I had to start off with, I separated them in the 4ths to work them easier.

So I would shake the seeds until they were evenly distributed throughout the tray, while rubbing in circular motions underneath the tray with the microfiber towel. While still shaking and rubbing the towel, I tilted the tray at a 45 degree angle. In the beginning alot of the immature seeds would climb the sides of the tray For an easy take out. I would just wipe them out with another microfiber towel to catch the seeds and then shake into a trash can . And it was then just a rinse and repeat over and over until everything was done.
The picture is the tray at a 45 degree angle with the mature seeds at the bottom and the immature seeds at the top with the static electricity holding them in place. Same as before just a wipe with a separate microfiber towel to remove them.

It was then much easier to sort and get the most ripe seeds possible and put them in their little containers.

Well, I guess I can now call an end to Operation Asian Haze.
:cools:

They are now in their little containers for storage. I haven't checked yet to see if they will fit in my seed container and I may need to add another to that section of the refrigerator.

Not counting what I packaged up to day to give away, the five little containers have 153.51g

And I shall have around 22 grams of Crazy Asian haze. Again, not counting what I packaged up to day to give away.

Winners Or the participants, I don't know which, of last year outdoor grow will be getting Some Asian haze seeds as prizes and maybe some Crazy Asian Haze also.

Well if anybody wants to sponsor a contest I could either supply the Asian Haze seeds for the contest or as prize seeds.

I think I have plenty.

I guess I missed documenting a feed!
Witches brew was fairly simplistic.
Humic acid and Surfactant as always
One teaspoon of BuildABloom
One teaspoon of Coconut Water Powder
1/4 tea spoon of Rootwise Biophos and 5ml Rootwise Enzymes
10ml Blue Gold Flower

I think I'm seeing a nice little combination of the parents. Her generalized structure seems to be more Asian haze. I think the toughness of her branches seems to be more Crazy S1. It is very wood-like at this point.
Even with all this red in the light with the supplemental lights, the bud spacing is still extremely tight and seemingly longer colas than Asian Haze.
Smell is developing, but not conclusive. I'm hoping they're gonna be like the other girl I harvested with her unique plungent smell.

Awwwwwww ........Terpy Terp Terp!

This is all from Crazy Asian Haze at 180*F. The Cannatrol really preserved the terps! The pressing stunk the house up for hours!
The rosin in the jar is a very light peanut buttery goodness! When he opened a jar of the Turks just fly up your nose and slap it around a little bit! It's a real heavy haze smell with a sharp bit of garlic that kind of burns your nose.

Just been watching.................The 'Grass' grow!

I'm playing around a little bit with the watering. Pretty much the same mixture that I've been using, I've just been applying it a little differently.
I've just been flooding the top with this plastic cup of solution. The cup is a little under a quart. When I start a new cycle I will add 2 cups with a short interval between the two, just to let it soak in. With the second cup, some of the solution will fall out down to the bottom and be reabsorbed.
The next day I add another plastic cup full. And then the day after that, the same. I then wait for my normal dry down, before I start it all over again.
I'm just trying something different. NOT based on anything I've read or anything I'm trying to do. I'm just experimenting a little bit.

The buds continue to grow in size and firmness! I'm giving a sweetness that I didn't get with either girl. At least not the end result that I remember. It may be an interim smell.

@Jean-O

This newly found sweetness is bugging me. I like it, but where did it come from? It's definitely not from the Asian haze. While it's not super overpowering you can definitely tell it's there. It seems to be more of a creamy citrus sweet too.

Does Crazy S1 have a transitional sweet smell with some phenos?

Maybe it's from the MMXX................. From Twenty20...............a noticeable deep undertone of overripe berries. Not the citrus I'm getting but it's definitely an undertone and I can't smell very well either!:crying::hump::hump:

Yes that would be from the MMXX. The phenotype i used was quite a bit different from their strain description but the berry aroma was in the description for the MMXX. The phenotype i used had a real deep menthol gassy aroma which was more than likely a recessive trait.
