I have to give my big potted girls a watering today.
I gave Vidamints a watering yesterday. I gave her a top dressing before watering with Roots Organic Bloom Terp tea mixed with my earthworm castings. I kind of doubt that she will actually need the extra flower amendments with the size of the pot. But it will be there and this is the way of progressing the No-till Growing method. I think it's best to mix up the dry ingredients with the earthworm castings. A lot of these dry mineral type top dressings will blow all over the place and your plant when you try to water it in. Then you really need to come back and wash your girls down.
I added all the stuff to the top of the pot and shook it down through the straw a bit. then I watered it all in.
Since I need to do all three, I think I'm gonna do the same thing with the earthworm castings and Roots Organic BloomTerp tea with also BAS Build a Bloom and the Oly/COM Lobster compost with a good dose of volcanic fluff to keep both the plant and worms gut happy.
It's not gonna be a whole lot for the big pots since I chopped and dropped the cover crop fairly short and the pipes just don't need it........ this grow. Mainly just promoting the establishment of the no-till environment.
And the best thing..................... It's exactly the same thing that I'm going to give to the EarthBox Juniors.
Since I'm introducing new ingredients, I'm only introduced some more biology with Recharge And probably only a quarter dose of aminos. ........just help integrate everything.
Today, it'll probably a pretty good whack on my rainwater supply, so I'd probably need to get off my ass and install my RO system!
