I only grew out of street bags back then. I had no choice. Shit in my box ,i dont think all 6 beans came from the same bag, all of them were prolly different strains. But yeah brick weed was a problem back in the day...nothing like schwag to give you a horrible headache after smoking
man i thought i missed it, when i heard my neighbor say he bought a pound of mexican dirt i was thinking of all my starter years of smoking and how good it was, not as good as i remember
Just decided to check in visually on my tent. I got one of those cheaper dual probe soil meters for light ph and moister. The moisture setting no matter where I place in the pot tops out and I didnt water yet at all. This is moisture content straight from the bag. Just below the surface it says its good, maybe 2 inches in, but if i stick it halfway down it flys up to wet and tops out, thats normal right? Im not worried about the seed as of yet but the soil has been in my grow bag for 3 days now and it doesnt seem like the mousture in the bottom is going anywhere and I dont want mold developing

Nope not even close. My first experience was with garbage weed, my best friends dad had a hook up for really cheap garbage weed and thats all we smoked, once we got familiar with plugs around the highschool we only bought that crap if we couldnt find anything
Noobs are probably screwing the ph balance right out of the bag. Ff's soil is already almost ph neutral. My bag was 6.8 right out of the bag. Its gone down to about 6.5 since its been drying out a bit though. So my guess is people fill a pot and water it right away. If they use ph down cuz the water is too alkaline it probably is making the soil way too acidic
