Im growing in my basement right now and was really just wondering what power consumption raises eyebrows at the power companies, say I doubled or possibly even tripled my consumption 18hr+ a day that would probably raise eyebrows right?

did you just get into growing coral or breeding lizards/snakes? maybe you mine for crypto?

I like the way you think and thats why Im not very concerned about it. 10 years ago I was worried about my set up. Horrible designed stealth box, i ran cfl bulbs....about 15 of them all 100w equivalent. They were what you could say daisy chained lol....i got a bulb/socket adapter, you know a bulb socket you can plug directly into a wall outlet. I put 5 strip cords screwed into the top of my box and put a bulb in every other outlet...it was janky and probably the biggest fire hazard ive ever seen and it was all off 1 wall outlet. Damn I wish I had pics

Steering new folks away from fox farms for autos would be a good start. Seems that’s what damn near every noob starts out in…then scrambles to find something that will work….

at least from what I’ve noticed…

LOL! That’s what I use and I have had great success with it. I got almost 3/4 lb from a single auto in a 3 gal pot in soil by amping up the nutrients.

Jeeezus. My box grew really really well actually. Those leaves I posted earlier in my harry potter book. They came from that 1 plant that survived my lights falling...i didn't have them hooked in like i thought they were basically wedged up there one day at work they fell frying 5 out 6 plants. Then the last one i took extra special care of, topped it a bunch let it fill the grow box. Flipped it to 12/12 and 4 days later I had balls everywhere. I was so sad. I stopped using thw box after and just grew 1 at a time under a large window

these are going to be topics that are geared toward newer growers.

I am trying to tackle the 5-10 most common “issues” or “problems” that most folks encounter.

And I want to be able to make these short, concise and to the point.

So really complex topics like DLI or VPD may not be the best

Give me your best blog topic ideas!!

My first few grows, I underwatered because everyone warned against overwatering. I then realized that the roots would only carry what they could in water, so my plants were stunted. I find that cloth pots are hard to overwater in. These days, I’m trying to find out what too much looks like.

This was my 2nd try at growing, i was 27 or 28 years old so 6-7 years ago and before that i never made it out of the 1 month lifespan before life said i had to stop. i didn't really try try like i am now until i stopped renting and bought a house, and here i am now.

Here are my oldest pics of me growing i have, they are 4 months old 30" tall and look to be the worst plants i ever seen, i left for florida and gave them to my room mate, he kept them alive for 2 more months before getting bored of it never growing much more, he said it got tiny little buds forming in october but died when he moved away later that month

These were seeds from a pound of dirt brick weed my neighbor at the time bought and sold a qp to me, worst weed i ever smoked and the plant looks like dogshit too go figure hahahaha
