Just ate the birthday cake my daughter made for me. I thought it would pair well with Sour Stomper and I was right. The munchies from that made the red velvet cake even better. Now to nap!

Well my 50-80 gram plant turned out to be a 200g+ plant (shocked me) 4-5 days in the dry tent @ 58-62% RH and 69-73F, i put a few buds in a jar today and the meter said 61% after 4 hours so i decided to trim it all up and weigh it.

I used a 300w FC3000 light but i was only 100% power for 70-80% of the grow. Mega crop and bud explosion only... easy growing i think!
23.8grams of trim
218grams of buds
Under a gram of kief

I noticed on a few of the buds i had a clear oil oozing off my scissor and the bud, really cool. Reminded me of gorilla glue as it would make sense this is red gorilla girl xl maybe some glue is in her blood.

and some bud and random trim pics, enjoy. I'm happy i only wanted 50-80grams so this is a win for me.

Well update dcse reached out saying my order will ship Monday. Also i know this isnt the most recent thread response, but I got my inline fan.....lets say amazon lied. It was suppose to have the ac infinity cloudline 69 4 component control. They shipped me the wrong one...i got the 67 controller that only controls the ventilation and not lightning. After a heated argument they offered to send me the right controller for free....so now i have a semi back up i guess....this day man....

Good Morfnoevight All you Caturday Stoners.

Anu says Happy Caturday:

And I do. In my current grow, all pots used including Root Beer Float. Are all 3 year old no till Happy Frog that I ammend for each grow. Diatomaceous Earth is part of the program.

I will humbly disagree that DE is not a good source of nutrients. DE has been studied, and it is becoming well know and accepted that DE has available Silica for almost immediate uptake for plants upon watering. In fact DE has an available 3% magnesium, 33% silicon, 19% calcium, 5% sodium, 2% iron, many other available trace minerals such as manganese, boron, and copper. It does work wonders organically as I seldom have needed supplements like CalMag to complete a grow cycle. I have read studies where DE has a significant effect on growth, and overall plant health regardless of cultivation methods. Studies of the like have found increased levels of magnesium, and calcium in foliage, per increased DE dosage, suggesting it's usable immediate availability.

I've used it for years, as it is part of what I was taught to use for successful gardening. I consider it the most important part of my amendments for micro nutrient supplementation. II'll never grow without it.

:d5:

That is a good study. It was conducted in soil-less media. There would be no silica available until some was provided to the Metro Mix 360. So adding some really validates the value of silica to enhance nutrient uptake regardless to the source. I read it and many other scholarly articles on the subject. I have had a serious re-look at DE. I did not know that it has different characteristics depending on where in the world it was mined. It also has more silica available to the plants if the PH is over 6.0 than I thought. I would definitely consider to include it in my TLS if I grew that way. I find other sources better for my Hydroponic operation.

NPK Industries Silica is 45% soluble, Epsom Salt = Mg, S, Soluble Gypsum = Ca, S and of course Calcium Nitrate = N, Ca; all provide more readily available and titratable nutrients in my system.
