Ya them lil leaves will but a giant fan leaf covering that bud site will absorb way more light then the few lil tiny leafs poking out from inside the bud! :d5:
I have observed this as well, but then again, I’m a n00b. On my last grow, I played around with the defoliation, etc. and noted that the buds grew even in complete shade of the neighboring fan leaves.

Well ill jump on the kitty bandwagon. Heres mine. She is sophie. Or sophalynn is her nickmane.

Her voice I beautiful I love her am going to have good luck at her songs on YouTube now
thats fucking awesome. She needs all the love she can get. Not easy to be a musician these days. And I would agree she has an amazing voice. I know she has a couple songs on youtube.

File this under "Sisters, not twins". I have two double grapes at 40 days packing on frost. They're both totally different in terms of structure. One shot right out of the seed and rocked. The other looked like it might be a runt, but has now blown past the other.

This is the taller one that used to be the smaller one. Its frost is more apparent since the leaves are darker.

This is from the other plant. This one is bushier, and more compact. It started out faster.

It's also worth pointing out that the trunk on the taller/formerly smaller one is probably triple the diameter of its sister's. It's apparent to me that while I was plotting its culling, it was building its roots.
