Thanks! I think I'll do whatever the Ardent will hold to decarb.I think I have my proceedures that I'll use.Bacically2 ounces is good…..decarb and break the buds down a bit….no need to go crazy. You can do it in a jar or beaker….or a clean wide pan will be faster…..if you do the pan method only evaporate about 80% and pour into your beaker and finish that way. If making rso….go slow with the last bit of evap….and stir it around. You may even add a touch of water at the end….seems to help get the last bits of alcohol out.you just want to almost cover your bud with the booze, exact measurements aren’t needed since you’re pulling it all out anyway.hope it helps, I’ll be around if you have more questions..![]()
Honestly, you can skip the 24 hours part. Decarb, add booze, start heating. It’ll get the extraction done in the process. Also….you can boil at first but you’ll want to back it off as the alcohol gets less and less….Thanks! The idea is to quick filter it to limit the time the booze is in contact with the material to lessen chlorophyll and other unwanted stuff. Then filter a couple of times thru coffee filter.Reduce down over heat outside. I'll see if I can do a double boiler. Get a slow roll boil of the canna booze. I have glass rods for stirring. Collect while warm. I just got in little 1g glass syringes with flat needles for the vape juice I was gonna make. I'll just use them.Maybe I can get this to her quickly to get her some better pain relief and improve her appitite to get her energy levels back up and better health. They have a little Labor Day GTG planned. Maybe she can improve enough to enjoy it more.

I've done RSO for years whenever I've gotten an itch for an extract @WildBill . I freeze the 62%RH herb, and put my stainless double walled cocktail pitcher & 100% rubbing alcohol into the freezer to bring them to the same temp as the herb. Then I put the herb, and alcohol in the pitcher. Swish for 30-60 seconds, and pour it through a stainless flour sieve into a Pyrex baking dish. Then, let it stand for a day or two to let it evaporate with zero heat application. Viola.Rso is a alcohol extraction
