I guess what I'm after is more of canna oil end product, with little to no alcohol in it.

I watched a vid with a guy doing it with heat in the "shake canna in the jar" stage and reduction stage,
I don't want to use heat. I have a little hot plate and assorted beakers, so I could do that method.

I dunno. I was really wanting to do a cold method, but I think that will take too long.


So, I guess what I need to know is how much canna to EverClear do I need?
Would 2oz be enough for a good test or should I go up to 4oz?
With this accurate hot plate, can I forgo a double boiler with water set up and just evap directly with the beaker sitting on it......ON the back porch. I've got funnels and coffee filters to filter out the plant material and trich 'husks'
At least the decarb part will be easy with the ArentFX!

Yes use your hot plate OUTDOORS and u can evap all the alcohol off! I believe u need to go over 170 degrees to make the alcohol boil and evaporate off!

No it’s not, RSO is made with butane! U talking like tincture style but u wanna then evaporate all the alcohol off to keep the concentrated stuff left behind??
Edit* guess could be RSO I’ve never made it! Was thinking BHO tho!

170 is the boiling point of alcohol….but it will still evaporate off at lower temps.

Just combine your decarbed flowers and alcohol (everclear is ok) in a jar, shake, wait, mix & enjoy !

Yes, an isopropyl alcohol one
FECO is simply using grain alcohol instead
RSO is just a method popularized by Rick Simpson years ago - since then, science made some progress...
