Indoor Keeping It Small and Simple

How did yours produce for you and how’d she taste? Oh...and how long did she go?
I checked my log on my Colorado Cookies. She was in a 4 gallon plastic pot and not a 3 gallon fabric pot. Dry yield was 106 grams. I do not smoke myself but friends to whom I gave the flowers said it was a very nice smoke....top shelf.

not even a taste test?

Good looking plants. I'd do a little defoliation to open them up. Help those bud sites underneath.
That’s a great idea and I have taken a couple of leaves off them to allow me to water them. But Mephisto recommends only minor stressing (leaf tucking) for the Strawberry Nuggets and the Gold Glue (the two denser smaller plants). Normally, I would defoliate. Especially dead or dying leaves. I’m gonna let them roll for another week or so and reevaluate.

I've cut 7-8 fan leaves off of each of my plants this week, and I'll do 5-8 more each week for the next couple weeks. I want to slow the veg cycle down and allow the plants to get bigger before they start to flower.

i honestly didn’t think shed get so big in a 0.75 gallon container. Don’t get me wrong...I’m happy...but I may need to get creative. I have a few questions if you don’t mind. How did yours produce for you and how’d she taste? Oh...and how long did she go? I’m at day 39 and she just started to flower in earnest today.

Thank you for the rep. I’m not sure I deserve it. I do greatly appreciate it, though. I was in a 2 liter fun grow a couple of years ago. That’s where I started using this grow style. I picked up a lot of really useful tips during that contest. The only thing I really have a problem with in these small containers is pH. It drifts here and there without rhyme or reason and swings wildly just for fun. Other than that one issue, I love growing in small containers.
I grew top fed on solo cups and bottle grows so no pH problems and I saw you can get a good yield I've had 90g dry from the coke bottles not bad also a think the best I've had off a solo cup its 41grams so they are well worth doing

Well I was wondering if you started a new grow. Looking good in there.
As usual, I still don’t entirely know what the hell I’m doing.:crying: I suppose I’m being just lazy enough to not fully kill any of ‘em. :eyebrows:

Another 4 weeks will put me at the 70 ish day mark. I just have to battle pH without a lot of room for buffering. The one liter bottle reservoirs are only 250 mL and the 3 liter bottle has a one liter reservoir.

As usual, it’s about this time that the roots in the reservoir start causing wild pH swings in a matter of hours. I’ve increased feedings to every 8 hours and I’m having to pH Down every feeding. Before each feeding, pH is back up to 6.7 or higher. I swear...next time I’m doing DWC or soil or something. Then again, I say that at the end of every grow.

But I’m semi-serious this time. :gary:

Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it.

Just went back and checked my DWC journal...no...nope...not again anytime soon. Soil it is!

Wait a minute! My last soil grow was garbage, too. Maybe I just don’t know how to grow this damn plant.

I’ll think of something.
