Indoor Keeping It Small and Simple

Day 11 for the Strawberry Nuggets, Gold Glue, G14 and the BlackBerry Kush and Day 6 for the Colorado Cookies. Everything is cruising right along. The G14 is best of the crop so far, but I know better than to count any of them out yet. Here they are:

Sorry for not posting yesterday, but things got busy around the homestead, and, to be perfectly honest, I forgot.

Day 14 for the big tent and Day 9 for the little one. Everything is cruising along. Some things I’ve noticed: a few of the plants started out with a few manky leaves, but they seem to be growing out of whatever funk they were in. Also, the nutrient requirements of the Blavkberry Kush seem to be different than all the others. She doesn’t seem too happy. She’s a lighter shade of green than the others. But I think I’m just going to stick to my plan and see what happens. My decision on lighting for the Colorado cookies might have been a mistake. She seems to be stretching and getting really leggy. She also growing slowly. These things might be attributable to the bigger container. I am going to stay the course, though.The G14 is outperforming. She could get really big (for a plant in a one liter bottle). Aside from her, everything else is going slowly. Hopefully just setting roots down into the reservoirs. Day 18 in the 2x4 tent and Day 13 in the 2x2.5 tent. Growth is starting to pick up. The lights are still at 20/4. The MegaCrop is still at 3.0 g/gal. Between now and the next update (probably on Day 20/Day 15 on Friday), I will most likely increase the MegaCrop to 4.5 g/gal. (3/4 tsp/gal) and I’ll add 1/4 tsp/gal of Bud Explosion. Anywho...here are the photos:

Day 21 and 17. In the bigger tent, the plants leaning heavily toward the indica side (Strawberry Nuggets, Gold Glue and the Blackberry Kush) are all very short so far. Their fans are thiccc, though. They could take a little longer to get going...but that’s fine with me. The G14 is a bright shiny rocket screaming toward the top of the tent. I’m probably going to do some serious raising of the lights tomorrow just to keep everything squared away. The Colorado Cookies is chugging away doing her own thang. Yesterday, I started adding in the Bud Explosion at 1/4 tsp/gal and I increased the MegaCrop to 3/4 tsp/gal. Here’s the photos:

Day 25 in the 2x4 and Day 21 in the 2x2.5. I am now of the belief that I might be underfeeding the G14. Before I defoliated her, she had a couple lower leaves turn yellow. The Blackberry Kush might also me a tad underfed. So, I upped the MegaCrop to 1 tsp/gal (6 g/gal) for these two plants. The remainder are on 3/4 tsp/gal (4.5 g/gal). I’m still adding in the 1/2 tsp/gal of Bud Explosion to the mix for each fertilizer batch. I’ve had to raise the lights about 6 inches since Saturday as the G14 and the Blackberry Kush are both stretching - the G14 excessively so. Here are the photos:

Day 29 in the 2x4 and 25 in the 2x2.5. Still trying to dial things in and keep it simple. These gals all have different requirements, though. I hiked the lights another 3 inches in each tent. As horrible as I am at this whole growing thing, the growth is persisting. Here’s how it looks so far:

In my defense...I’ve got her in a one liter bottle AND I’m underfeeding her.

The only thing I can think of is that this system (hempy buckets) which I borrowed from one of DalaiHempy‘s threads over on ICMAG is basically a soilless non-aerated hydroponic system. And, apparently, plants love hydroponics. Could also be FastBuds genetics. I mean, she’s got a mean sativa lean to her doesn’t she? It could be a sativa leaning pheno. Could be something in the MegaCrop.

I previously reported last Saturday as Day 29/25 when it was, in fact Day 28/24. That makes today Day 32 in the 2x4 tent and Day 28 in the 2x2.5 tent. I am still on a 20/4 lighting schedule and I’m feeding them each between 500 ml and 750 ml each per day. I mix up a gallon of water with 1 tsp. of Mega Crop and 1/4 tsp. of Bud Explosion for their feed. The G14 and Blackberry Kush have apparently stopped their stretching. The Strawberry Nuggets and Gold Glue are still stretching...slowly...but they’re still going. The Colorado Cookies has yet to start her stretch in earnest. She looks like she’s just starting to flower. Here they are in all their glory:
