Indoor Keeping It Small and Simple

@St. Tom, here’s your tag. :eyebrows:

Day 87 for the Colorado Cookies. In the end, she was not very photogenic. She faded quite a bit and she was lightburnt. Her main stem and one side stem had been supercropped - the latter one accidentally early on…the former intentionally. The one thing I’ll giver her was that she was pretty frosty and sticky.

Trimming was a four and a half hour affair. She did not have too many leaves and the trimming itself was fairly easy…there was just so much to do. A lot of the lower Bud sites were immature and underdeveloped…probably because I only had one Autocob on her. Two probably would have been better. Her buds would have beefened (this is a word…right???) up a bit more I’m sure.

Her wet weight after trimming was 462.3g. Assuming I keep 25%, that’ll be approximately 115.5g or a smidge over 4 ounces. Not bad for a 3 liter pot. I’ll take it.

Here‘s what she looked like prior to harvest:

I’ll be back with dry weights once I get ‘em. Should be 4 or 5 days.

Thanks for following along. I appreciate all of the questions and comments and camaraderie.
Shen looks like a million $$$'s to me. She is great

Final dry weight for the Colorado Cookies was 111.68g Or 3.95 Oz. Not too shabby.

Now a little post-mortem on the whole grow:

1. There is a fine line between too much and too little light. I feel like I need to do some more experimentation with the COBs before I truly know how they affect the plants.

2. Regardless of how much I try to keep things small and simple, ultimately, I lose sight of this and things get complicated. I end up monitoring things I intend not to monitor and add supplements I intend not to add.

3. I think I want to try my hand at a light soil mix again or go with a bigger hempy setup. There’s something intrinsically difficult about trying to manage a small reservoir in terms of PPM and pH. I need something to help buffer small mistakes.

4. Finally, I know I can do better and maximize yields. I just have to stop being so lazy about it.

Take care everyone and I’ll see you in the next grow. Happy growing everyone.

Total dry weight for the entire grow was 284.38g or 10.03 ounces. That’s gonna take some time to get through…Maybe. :eyebrows:

Sounds like it's a party at mcpd's place. Nicely done. Always lessons to learn. The trick is to remember them and to slap your own hand.
