Indoor Keeping It Small and Simple

I use the smaller 2.2 gal pot with a 3" rockwool in the middle. I have been very fortunate with this system.
Chances are that will be my end game growing method, the reason for it being last :D I'm trying to get my feet wet in all methods as they all look fun.

I took a look at your Bomb run. They’re looking really good. I noticed that you added a perlite/vermiculite mix in with the Happy Frog. Is that necessary? Did you want the extra air and water retention for a particular reason? Just an experiment?
Just making easier for the roots to grow out quick. It does compact some when you water a few times.

OK...this is beginning to get out of hand. Day 46 in the 2x4 Tent and Day 42 in the 2x2.5 Tent. Still seeing some wild pH shifts in the one liter bottles. It’s an upward drift, so I’m just pHing the nutrients on the low side (5.7) and letting them drift up through the day. 3 and a half more weeks...just 3 and a half more weeks. The Colorado Cookies has exploded and is in danger of being supercropped if she doesn’t stop growing. I’ve raised the light as high as she’ll go Without removing the fan and filter. Here they are:

Oh How pleased I am to see all of the learning that you are experiencing. The ladies love you for all of your care. This is a good way for me to start my day.

Just like real life, I think the ladies were upset with me for a little while. And I don’t think they fully trust me again yet. Hopefully it all works out in the end.

I’m hoping that the Colorado Cookies stops stretching by Saturday. Or at least slows down. I’m sure if I sat in my grow room with the tent open, I could actually watch her grow. It’s kinda amazing, actually. I’m willing to give her another 8 to 10 inches before I bend her over (that just doesn’t sound right at all). Talk about a Jeopardy joke...’Can I have “Things I Can Say About Growing Cannabis That I Can’t Say About My Wife” for $800.’

One other thing I’m doing that I forgot to mention in my previous post is that I am cutting back on what I feed them. I’ve decided that maybe the pH issue is related to salts in the nutrient mix. So...I’ve taken out the extra cal/mag. I’ve taken out the Bud Explosion. AND I’ve reduced the MegaCrop just a smidge to 4 g/gal. I may reduce the MegaCrop even more...to say 3 g/gal. And see if the gals can handle it. I will monitor pH and plant health and let you all know what I find.

me and my wife laughed about the jeopardy joke :smoking:

I was doing the MC g/gal on my plants and then i found man o green talking ppms with a chart for mega crop and i have been mixing by ppm until flush, i dunno if maybe that is easier but his advice on that stuff is for hydro DWC so i may be all messed up haha

This is a hydroponic setup I’m running - albeit a non-aerated form. I could check PPMs in each batch of nutrients that I mix, but I would have to set a PPM probe into each bottle’s mini reservoir and then mix each bottle’s strength based on that reading. I cannot really fully empty the reservoir and start over again, so I’d have to make those calculations on the fly and then add a customized mix into each bottle. That’s very non-lazy and full of math and ratios. Ewwww...gross.

The way it is, I am measuring pH twice a day (every other feeding) by sticking a probe into the reservoir of each bottle. This gives me an idea of what’s going on in the bottle. I can also plug in g/gal on the Greenleaf Nutrients website and get approximate EC/PPM numbers.

im really not obsessing over it. I’m just trying not to kill them before their time is up. Oh...and I’m not trying to make mutant weed. Yeah...that’s it. Don’t kill ‘em. No mutant weed.

Wait....I want mutant weed, will I get kool super powers?

Day 49,in the 2x4 tent and Day 45 in the 2x2.5 tent. The ladies weren’t happy with me when I took away their flower food. I dropped the MegaCrop to 3 g/gal and added the Bud Explosion back in at 1 g/gal. I stopped futzing with the pH as well. They only have three more weeks or so. MegaCrop and tap water is 6.1 pH, so I’m going to spend more time enjoying life and less time worrying about the pH of 300 mL reservoirs. The die has pretty much been cast anyways. Here are the gals (Oh yeah...the Colorado Cookies is out of control);
