The camera is focusing on the grass behind the flowers. If you can, press on the screen on the exact item you want to focus on. Also holding the camera back a bit will allow it to focus. Another way to get the camera to focus is by putting your finger right behind the object and allowing the camera to focus on that distance.
Sorry guys I know my pics sucks, they were taken with a Kindle Fire. I wish I knew enough about cameras to buy one that would be cheap enough for my budget!
How much is your budget? Key features are digital zoom(for closeups) and light balance(for pesky LED light). Might not be as pricey as you think!! I bought a Canon Powershot many years ago(6-7?) and it takes awesome pics, both closeup and far away. Best part was pricepoint, i got mine(on sale mind you) for less than $200 cannadian(so $150US). Sure its outdated now, but you can get a Canon Powershot SD790 for pretty damn cheap!! (like $30-60 on ebay)
Thanks for the info @912GreenSkell I was looking at the Cannon Powershot that @archie gemmill posted, but it was out of my price range, (around $50). I'll have to do a search on the SD790.
Update Day 64
The girls are chugging along and they are almost ready to chop! Trichs were mostly cloudy with maybe 10% amber and as I love a good couch lock high, I will wait a couple more days before I take them down. I've been feeding only Cal/Mag+ and blackstrap molasses for the last few days. Here's some pics.
Update day 68 Chop Day!
I actually took the top of my non -entry girl Friday evening and she is drying in a small cardboard box. I'll post some pics in the next day or two, along with what I chopped today. Here's several pics of my entry girls taken with the new camera app. Later, I'll post some pics I took with a phone for comparison.
