Half of the SSSTN Fluffy pheno is jarred.
Presently at a drop site until I can move it to proper storage in a few days.
The other half is dried but still in the 'laundry' if you know what I mean.
The rest of the Grail project NLD pheno is also in the 'laundry'.

I still have literally branches and branches of the Grail x ThaiFrican hanging on the walls.
A big cob? Maybe. I know where to source some bamboo now.

Day something something of flowering, who knows? who really cares?

Meanwhile, the 'little' ones (now more like the short but chonky ones):

First, the pretty delicate Lady Pearl.
She's looking done, to be honest, but ... will get her later this week, I hope.

Next, this girl, looks a bit rough, but the flower development is on point.

There is another girl who is like a slimmer version of the above.
But she looks even more battered, so no pics of her -- she's a bit shy, shall we say?

Then we have a couple of ladies who are lovely and green, though with a bit of bug damage.
One who is a bit chunkier and solid looking:

Her shape looks a lot like their mom, but she's a bit thicker.
Is going to be some seriously delicious and potent herb, I just know it!
That top bud has a nice wobble on it when you shake it (I know you all do this with your top colas!)

And the last, more open and airy, and also with longer to go in her flowering cycle.
This is the lady I showed in the last update pics.
PXL_20241209_080552983.jpg

A last bud of their aunty in the background, haha!
Her size is the proverbial American football, and she's still filling out a lot.

Let's just say that I am extremely excited to see how this bud shapes up and smokes.
Their faster sister, that I called the SSSDH pheno, is dried and jarred.
She has some serious diesel terps on her, good thick sati-dom hybrid flower.
And these ladies her are definitely more on the sativa side.
Apart from Lady Pearl and the big puffy slow girl, the others have a nice sati-dom hybrid look to them.
The Pearl and puffy really let the Thai genetics shine out.

And, if I may, these may end up being better quality flower than the big girls who had to endure all that terrible fall weather, multiple typhoons, etc.
Temps are getting lower, of course, but we know from last year that they should be okay.
Apart from the slow puffy girl, who will be airy enough to resist later humidity and cold,
the rest may be finished between now and late Dec / early Jan.

May the sun shine with touches of rain to keep them happy but low humidity.

Signing off,
~~MJS

:woohoo:staged harvest has begun! You have earned every gram of it luv, and then some= :clapper::clapper::clapper:

This run of yours takes the guerilla prize to the House! Not your typical back-40 shrubland hidey grow, hey? And I appreciate the risk factor in all of it, especially considering where (I think) you're at and the nasty disposition toward cannabis there :eek1:
Just getting it dried decently and home into jars is an "adventure" in butt clench moments
Color us all genuinely impressed, x2 considering the genetics you're running, such NLD's are not for the faint hearted or impatient!
I'm just glad you were able to join in share this grow with us :bighug:

Talk with @hecno about this, I know he's landed some excellent cobbed bud...
One of the mates at another forum we're at is a true pro' at this, and he does grow a lot of similar Sati' types -

-- they have been through hell on top of the the usual exposures, particularly vermins! I figured you'd lose 2-3 to them alone, but maybe the urban environ's were a nice plus in this aspect...
Now the tricky part with the later finishers... It's a risk:benefit analysis, plus the classic long cycle Sativa habit of stacking new flowers on top of ripe/ready older stuff and when to harvest - 😬
Day to day I say, reel'm in as you go!

Good fuelly terp's is on point, bet the soaring buzz is too!

I agree, they have had some time to recover and are getting seasonal finishing touches too... Everything about this grow show-cased the "why" behind these types of NLD cultivars, particularly the ones with a lot of landrace heritage in them!
Cheers Maria! :smokeout:

:jointman: OK me mates, pending some final stuff from Maria, we are well done and cooked

This year work really dragged me off the beat here, I wasn't as involved nearly as much I usually am - :dammit:
It seems that the thrills, chills & spills part of it hit more of us than usual as well! A lot of "casualties" this year...:face:
Plus there were fewer contestants overall...
I'm looking at the finish line here and it's pretty sparse - 😬 😅
Unless my math is off, it's only @Jpkindbud @Jean-O @Kyote @Green Hornet that have landed Comp plants so far? Maria is TBD yet,...
Myself excluded...
It has me pondering the point of setting up voting polls, frankly!
hmmm.gif
... what say y'all?
I was kicking around the idea of just offering seeds to all the finishers as is, but I need the shake that tree to see who's offering prize goods...
Also some losses there, T20Adam seems to have left in something of a huff =
Sweet Seeds folks are ghosts anymore... So are others...
Lemme knock on some doors and see,... I have Jean-O and Kyote covered already from earlier discussions...

Cheers @Waira :bighug:. And everyone who took part...:bighug:...roll on Spring............:d5:

Yeah.....?...I hadn't heard...... :headbang: ...any idea why......?....
Yep, that's a new one on me too!:eek2:

Shame on whoever ran him off!............................... Wasting all my time pestering him on IG to come here!:grrr2:

:funny::funny::funny::funny:

But seriously, that's damn Shame!:oops1:

I’ll post some photo when I get a min. I think you should still hold the voting regardless. I personally have a ton of seeds so even if there is not prize I’m happy to see how it ends. Sponsorships issues are a different issue all together.

I guess maybe part of the sponsorship issues may be website traffic not being 'optimal'.
Maybe the powers to be will start a thread on how members can contribute to increased traffic.

Derek had it advertisement on IG for his Dream Beans seeds and I commented that he's missed here it should come and show face at least. At least he replied back, yeah, I do.

Edit.................. I'm pretty sure we'll have some seed prizes.:cools:

Probably a great idea.
