Think I found the perfect strain for my first topping and LST attempt,
How Does Bubble Gum Auto Flower Seeds Grow?

What do you expect of an auto flower that has a total guarantee to produce female plants with smokable nugs? These seeds are easy to grow and will match newbies and novice growers’ skills and experience. Those experienced connoisseurs will love how much it can be tweaked without diminishing yields. In addition, if you’ve got a new growing technique or practicing a new one, this is it.

I got my Bubble Gum Auto seeds as a freebie with an order from GrowersChoice. I only grew 1 out of the 3 so far, and it's 126 days old now. Looks like it could go a couple more weeks, except I need the space for real autos. I posted a pic of it in today's weekly update, which I moved to a new format at https://www.autoflower.org/threads/maras-continuous-grow.84988/
Here's my NOT bubblegum NOT auto:
The seed banks make everything look and sound so scrumptious! I call it seed porn...
Out of 4 vendors I've tried, my fave so far is hembragenetics. High quality genetics, fair price, good communication, high quality freebies, and they got it to me in WNY in 6 days.

My 6 plants in a 4x6 basement room started smelling quite dank by the 2nd month. I put in a 6" exhaust pipe vented out a 2nd floor eave. It was too noisy, so I upgraded to an 8" ACinfinity inline fan and 8" galvanized pipe. Speed 2 (out of 10) is enough now to keep the smell outside. It's whisper quiet. Part of the exhaust run is up through an interior wall, and that's the only noise, the air rushing through the 4x14 space between studs. I haven't put a filter on it, and hope I won't have to. If the wind is right I can smell it on the sidewalk out front though. Sometimes my wife complains when the aroma blows back into the house through an open upstairs window. I blame it on my neighbors, who are 3rd generation stoners. I often smell weed walking around the neighborhood anyway.

For a while I was putting 1 plant in a dark corner of the attic at night so it could get 12/12 light/dark while the grow room was on an 18/6 schedule. When it got well into flower it was smelling up the whole house, so now I have to keep it in the grow room with the others. I have 2 photoperiod plants in flower, and the rest are autos, so they're all on a 12/12 schedule for now.

My wife is unfortunately not a stoner, so I have to keep the sweet aromas out of the house. I married her during a period of my life when I was not smoking because I was subject to random pee tests. Oh well, she has other merits.
Looks like you got a good setup going on , wish i had the room to work with a room like that. My tents coming today still deciding on where to put it gonna run the 4i n fan and filter, if the smell gets that bad ill try venting into a bucket of water, read some thing about that some were.

don't sweat it my wife don't smoke either , but she might once she retires gonna have to get my yields up if she does :smoking:

Good luck with the Ladies

@Jpkindbud what type of soil do you have in the solo cup ?
Using promix premium moisture with 20% perlite added… peat based with coco too. I get it at Walmart for $13 . It’s a compressed brick til you open and fluff. It works well. I know ther is much better out there. Would like to try happy frog or ocean forest. Or coast of Maine soil… expensive. I have just started reusing soil from previous grows, putting it at the bottom half of the container and using the fresh promix on top

I think they are based in Washington State and Canada. I would love to find a NY seed bank.

I would love to find a NY seed bank.
Might have to start it yourself...

I think the NY Office of Cannabis Management (NYOCM) was supposed to finish regulations for medical growers by next Thursday (last day of September). I wonder if they'll regulate seeds at all? Seems like they've got their hands full for the next while.

Question guys... anybody using regular tap water for your grow? And if so besides ph control do you do anything else to the water before you add your nutes or just watering? I don't have the space for a ro unit and bottled water is gonna get expensive lol
The website for your town/city may have annual water quality reports available, or call the number on your bill if it's not online.
edit: Chloramine and chelating agents/compounds are worth noting, too. There are small filtering units, for a single faucet. If I can remember where I saw the posts about them I'll message you.

@Homerjfries Figured I'd just tag you here so anyone interested can see it. The filter and set up is called RO Buddie, and is available in quite a few places (inc Amazon) and has different models. Price seems reasonable, and iirc from posts that the filters last a good while.
