I have $200 to spend on a light for a 2x4 area. No tent. In a compromise with the wife I need to have a tomato plant and cucumbers. My plant will of course be in the center with the vegies on the outside. It looks like the best choices are HLG, SF, or MH. Just cant decided.
Opinions much appreciated.

This is how my one SIP is doing… Seedstockers Candy Dawg auto at day 33 at just over 24” tall showing sex but not into flower yet.

She’s drinking 1 gal every two days!

IKEA shelves, Mylar, trash bags, and a viparspectra p1000. If there are issues, I’ll buy a tent, but I want to see if it’s possible to grow in something so simple. There’s also pvc and panda film.

I just bought a viparspectra xs2000. Coming monday. Cant wait to get it set up.
I have a buddy that picked up a old shower stall at the dump and hung the silver emergency blankets inside of it. Seems to work well. I'm looking for diy ideas

I had an odd 4x4 nook in the basement, enlarged it to 4x6, put an old door on it, installed an exhaust up through an interior wall, partly lined it with mylar, hung lights, hung some old wire shelving. Still a lot more room for improvement, but i was in a hurry to get the girlz off the sun deck before nosy visitors showed up over the summer:

It is possible, actually more than possible. We have a guy on here started growing in a water heater closet with small leds think his handle is Cubfaninmo ?
