Yes I think your getting too heavy on the Nitrogen.

60 years ago we used to go out to the ranch at night to kill jack rabbits. They were pests that came in from the wild to feast on our vegetables. They were no good to eat as they had boils most of the time. They were tall rabbits some stood close to 3 feet when the stood up. We just called those big ones jackalopes. No they did not have horns We let the cotton tails live until winter. Then they went in the pot. I miss that life but then I remember all of the work ........... ugh I don't miss that.
