What's every ones opinion on darking off a plant before the trim (24hrs) dark ?

I've been leaving the last plant that finishes in the dark for 48hrs and I don't think it really does anything but make me nervous about humidity

Thinking about buying a mini fridge and brown paper bag drying them in the fridge

Why the fridge? Brown bags work just fine on their own

Is that like a couple of handfuls or an inch deep or what? "Handfuls across soil" isn't exactly technical...
These are the plants. Multiple plants in each 10gallon pot

Cheers for the opinions gang very great full . My microscope turned up today and it's amazin but really hard to capture a pic with only two hands so the trich porn will have to wait till weekend when my buddy comes to help trim . I promised him untold wealth in form of free bud to butter him up , I don't think any one enjoys trimming
