Is that a mortar and pestle I spy? Something you don't see in a everyday kitchen....

Made of granite, It comes in handy. Less knife work, can make sauces with it and invisible aromatic garnishes. Right now the aroma is fish

I have several, the one I have been using the most lately is made from marble. I use it to powderize DTE dry amendments and fertilizers for the desktop grow, they are available to the plant much quicker that way.


And in my younger years I used them to concoct home made fireworks,, I was a touch of a pyro...LOL

I found with plants adding water to make a slurry really helps stop everything from collecting on the walls. plus this seaweed is super gummy
