Hmm i spose its different cop to cop. I been pulled by CPD knew i was lit and they just make sure theres nothing more than weed. Probably a lot different because they have to live in the city so they don't harass over petty bs too much. Now if you get pulled over by the troopers in the city like my first story we're talkin 6 cars and SWAT.

Not that I've been told....got family in blue back in Mo.......which is the reason I have such little respect for any of them....I know the corruption well.

There is only one person in law enforcement that I trust. It's my buddy that's a retired Marine Gunny that is a Texas DPS officer.
He called me a couple of months ago. We were talking about his build on his Mustang, but the real reason for his call was his wanting a rematch at the range. His newest thing is his sniper rifles. He's spent some serious $$$ for some very nice toys. I sorta blew him off by telling him I need a new script for new glasses. I'd have to be on my game like it was a real life sniper situation to even stand a chance with his new toys! LOL!

Yes, but I bet it's not legal to smoke on it driving home from the dispo.......up to you to prove you wern't high while driving, the dog hitting was just the icing on your cake..

The state is setting up a certification system for "drug recognition experts" to see if people are high. Police forces will be required to have at least 1 for every station. Currently can't even be fired from a job here for being stoned. Companies must hire or have a DRE to see if your stoned before they can fire. But the state hasn't gotten it going and there are currently 0 DREs in the whole state

Used to be...is the main part, supreme court ruling is that they can't hold you up for longer than the time it takes to do the original business, ticket, warning etc.......so the chit chat they try to do can be used to extend the stop waiting on a dog to show up....and is legal if you chit chat back......don't talk to the police, it's never in your best intrest.
