Well, I'm ready to make my first alcohol extraction.
I have a little over 2oz decarbed, ground up, and sitting in a jar in the freezer with the 190 proof Everclear.

For this test, I'm gonna do a mid length wash. This is a test to see if it can help with my friend in need. I don't have the amount of canna needed to attempt a cure and she is fairly well progressed. It's an attempt to give her some ease in the pain.
It's also an attempt to see whether I want to include this method in my utilization of my canna. If I see worth to me, the first investment in tools will be a better method of filtration with a Buchner Funnel Set With Flask and filter down to 3 micron. I'll explore quick washes for the best quality.
If I like those results, I'll bite the bullet and get a SOURCE Turbo Concentrate Extractor.

I think it's good to have tools to FULLY utilize the canna I grow in any situation. or demand.

Best way I've found to use my alcohol extract is 2 eye droppers on store bought pecan sandies, sit in the fridge over night to evape the alcohol and they do a nice treat for me.....your dosage may vary.

Morning kittens...dogs medicated and treated, wife watching/waiting on the Artemis launch and finally on my 2nd cup.....no idea what I plan on doing today yet, but I'll do something as it all needs doing sooner or later.

Best way I've found to use my alcohol extract is 2 eye droppers on store bought pecan sandies, sit in the fridge over night to evape the alcohol and they do a nice treat for me.....your dosage may vary.

I'm testing a small, I hope, dose in coffee. I really can't taste it. I haven't collected it yet, still sitting in the beaker. I'm gonna see how much I can suck up with the flat needled syringes I picked up for vape juice I haven't made yet.
Anyone have input if a second wash is worthwhile with the 30sec shake and about 2min soak in the freezer I did in this first run?

My first batch was as you did it and did a 2nd wash, freezer green dragon.....then I got a soxhlet extractor and it does a great job on just 1 run through.....I just keep my mason jar in the back of the fridge and suck it up into the eye dropper from there for the cookies.

I metabolize stuff pretty quickly. I'm not finished with the cup yet(second cup drinking slower) and I can feel it.
I put the material back in the jar and back in the freezer last night, I got enough booze for another run. The SOURCE Turbo and vacuum filtering will make this process easier and quicker with a better product in the end.

Dropped a little off to a friend down at the local yesterday and brought a few nuggets of the 3BOGxSams for them to try.......they love it and I guess it's a go for them......even after a nice cure I can't get past the cat piss smell, call it my kitty litter weed...so at least it won't go to waste in the coming hash run. She got the last of the Congolese and is amped for a try of the Green Crack when I get it done but that'll probably be next year.....Next planned run is a full tent of the GT seeds in my Osmocote test which will be 3rd use of the same soil mix.
