Sorry to change the topic, but you use hydro halos correct? Opinions?

Yes I do! I love them. Except they are awfully expensive for what they are. Ah the price of convenience. They fit perfectly in the 1.5 gallon "airpot" knockoffs I have. I don't use them with a pump, I just run the 1/2" hose to an easy to reach spot and handwater. A funnel is extremely helpful. Makes watering in the back of the tent much easier on me. I can't reach and bend way in there any more.

I know some people have had trouble with them but a little pregrow prep work helps. I rinse them in the sink with a short piece of hose to make certain all the holes are open. Some need a trim with an exacto knife. Getting them set "flat" in the pot can be a task. If you aren't watering enough volume and they are tilted, the water just runs out one side. Not really an issue just something to be aware of.

At the end of a grow I rinse and soak them in some vinegar to break down any residual nutrient salts. They definitely get a bit crusty. Short hose back on in the sink and blast them with the sprayer, check all the holes are still open and functional.

I gave up acid after a bad trip in 1968. I was so messed up I thought about jumping out the window to make it stop. I gave up on the idea when I looked outside and the street was filled up with soft paisleys right up to the 3rd floor window. I was going to ask about that. That would be my first assumption, had I the same problem. The second assumption would be that I put it down somewhere. Like I do with tools and stuff. Ah, the boat and house searches I have undertaken. Before buying another whatever, and then finding the original accidentally later. Sigh.

@WildBill - I read your request a few pages back. Just curious, wouldn't your usual butter or oil infusion work just as well? I believe the MCT oil keeps for a long time at room temp. Pretty easy with your Ardent. A shmear of canna butter on a cracker might be more tolerable.

I remember reading that everyone said the RSO, QWET, ethanol extractions once reduced down taste quite awful. Potent but yickky.

At the moment, this is mainly for an old friend that needs the most powerful thing I can make.
As far as the machine I'm thinking of getting, it would be nice to have something powerful on my bad pain days to hit it with.

You know, you could always make bubble hash and dissolve that into the alcohol, or even some type of fat….
