Whats Happening Everybody !!! Update: Day 29...Okay I am continuing to report good news on Ann,the plant that was fimmed,The growth never stopped,the plant continues to grow about 3/4 inch per day and is looking great,So great in fact that i Fimmed her again in 13 different places .Ann is now approx 17 3/4 inch tall..Time wise,They are coming up near half their life span,so unless i get a wild hair,i am done with the fimmimg,i will just let her grow and "bush out".The two plants will be getting ready to move under the HPS and be switched to an 18/6 schedule,nutes will also change....The shorter plant,Nancy is bushy as hell,the nodes have good growth but not like Ann,she is still also a bit shorter but is growing at the same rate Ann is.....okay now for the shitty pics(sorry guys) that show Ann before during and after her Fim in 13 places

Before the Fim.The top looks discolored but this if from the incandescent light,she is healthy green !!!

Shitty pic I know !!! All but 2 branches were Fimmed,,and the Center/terminal bud was also Fimmed again to put more energy into the 2 adjacent branches

These 2 pics show the lower haircut,dont know if this qualifies as a lollipop,just cleaning the area that would usually grow the popcorn

Okay im posting this one for fun,I am "nursing" a Geranium for my wife,it gets the runoff and occasionally a fresh watering,I dont know shit about this plant but i think i have it looking pretty good..Wonder if i should Fim it...lol...Enjoy !!!

Okay brothers,after searching and searching,I finally found fadeds' thread on fimming,although the first fim was done at 5 nodes and things went smooth with no negative effects,only time will tell how the "extreme" fim job is gonna affect the plant,since AU is a 65-70 day strain,I'm sure just like that last AU grow,they will be more like 80-85,they will go to 40 days before they get the HPS switch,this should allow the plant to be over the shock of the fim,if there is any...okay ,Peace

Here's the skinny on the plants for this update !! Day 31...There is no Stopping the growth on Ann,I continue to raise the lamp everytime i see her(at least once per day)..I have been feeding at about 700ppm but have noticed a slight nute burn to the tips on Nancy..I have backed this feeding down a bit to approx 600ppm..Final numbers are 830ppm because the tap water is at a 230 starting point..anyway hope this helps out the tip issue without starving Ann..Ann is now at approx21.5 inches tall which a big jump from the last update..Thanks For Stopping By....Okay here's some pics

Day 34 and all seems to be going good,with the ppm being dropped a bit I am waiting to see if the tips green up,,but this brings me to a question if anyone can offer advice,now when the top growth is small ,the tips show yellow as if burned,the do grow out of this and the tips do green up as the leaves get big,I have also seen some other plants on our forums that show this same trait/issue...is this common?? Anyway here's some pics ,flower schedule coming this weekend,is the move to flower a simple switch of nutes or is it a gradual transition??

What's up @budelee I've seen that before. Also w DP.. In an AutoXtreme. The growing tip even fell off the plant ended up fine though, I backed off the nutes a bit and she eventually grew out off it. Topped however (self mutilated).. Yielded less than her sisters but still 100+ grams. But she was severely mistreated. DP has such crazy genetics!! Your ladies look great. The FIM seems to be workin' out

Thanks @ChillFred for the knowledge! Yes I agree DP has crazy strong genetics.my AU "stash" is still going strong and will get me thru the next harvest and cure!! Btw I am Diggin' your grow as well I like the lst around the rim( I'll have to try that nex time),seeds should be-a-poppin and plants should be in flower light by this weekend..Peace!!!!
