Indoor Full Circle Adventures in Growing

Wow! Do you think that long, spindly buds are skinnier than the short ones?

Wow! Do you think that long, spindly buds are skinnier than the short ones?
Hmmm, well I think it depends on a few things but for instance with the two Auto mazars side by side the shorter plant that was topped used the ligh better to create a flat canopy with full dense buds all the way around, the natural scrog plant kept stretching and the buds are long but skinny, still shooting white hairs so I'm trying to plump em up by mid July but we'll see,if they get as fat as the short plant it'll have some decent weight...

Whew,I had to backtrack to page 10 on the DP thread, here's the winner then the two side by side, but this is why I don't like letting them get tall, they get to spindly the taller they get under 600 watts..each of the plants was about 43 inches tall,I'd have to go way back to ding the plants that reached 5'6" tallView attachment 584932View attachment 584933
Ahhhh... that's a lot of bud!! :worship:

So I think in most cases the shorter plants will use the ligh penetration to create fuller denser buds which I'm my opinion give more final weight of a better product because there is less larf/popcorn ,I make a lot of extracts so I'd don't really matter but for the nicest flowers, yes, shorter plants, but I know a lot of you guys use led's and that's a game changer, everything I said is void with LED 's

The led's seem to need careful monitoring of the distance between the lights and canopy for a good grow. Im still working on that.

The natural plant has been dismantled and is in the rack this time,I decided not to hang dry the whole plant..I am out of steam for the night and will trim the other in the morning...

Did you do the other plant today?
Hi eye!! Yes I did but with everything going on I forgot to post them, after it was laying in the table I think the topped plant will easily take it for the final weight...Thanks for keeping me in check !!
