Very happy looking plants, and cool figurines! :smoking:

I feel like there responding well to the new light, it could be me but I swear the strawberry in flower swelled up a little and the smaller one is doing better I figure maybe was getting a little heat stress from cfls too or the cob might be drying it out better.

Btw one way to tell if lights are too close before they start getting crispy is they will curl up along the sides, called "tacoing". Looks like, you guessed it, a taco :smoking: A shitty, green one tho. Not like when they seem to pray to the light and look joyful, which your plants look like they are doing. I love when I see my girls lift their leaves up to the light like that :bighug:

Here's a picture I stole off the interwebs:

My leaves started curling on mine like @RivetGrrl shows. My lights were about 18-19 inches above plants. I definitely dont see you needing closer than 24 inches. Doesnt mean dont try if you want just for w.e reason these light recommendations for these lights they give are not accurate. I like 28 inches first week and then seems 24 works rest of way at least so far for me.

Thanks Boog! I plan on leaving the light all the way up and just raising the plants as needed or hopefully they grow into it somewhat but it will be about 30" flat on the ground with seedlings from the light. If I didn't have the dang plastic ziptie attached to the poll to hook the light on I would have maybe another few inches but the clamp they give you isn't big enough to fit over the poll.

It's definitely easier that way probably. I got the rope hangers and like you the clamp doesn't go over the bar pole like it should even though made by same company. I use 4 on each light and its nice and a pain at same time trying to get them all even. But it does work. But using something to raise the plants would simplify it all. I may just do this myself lol

Weights work great

@MordecaiAlliVanAllenOshea Thanks bud! I got them at Dollar General for a dollar each they have a lot of cool garden stuff for cheap

@FullAuto245 Seems like this height is working great so much cooler in here too!

@RivetGrrl Thanks so much I saved the pic for future reference  I think they might have done that a few times with the cfl but not as bad.

I love Dollarama for that, I just picked up a bunch of jars for curing buds and another white laundry bin for trimming.
Btw heat stress can cause the leaves to taco too, so the CFL's may have been OK lumen wise but not heat wise. Either way it's corrected so you're good

The smaller strawberry is doing great now recovered a lot last night started lsting her again.

The older strawberry is putting off a nice skunky oder will be interesting to see how the smell changes as she gets riper. The light seems to be working a lot better so far plants are happier.

The 24k is finally putting on some size will start lsting more soon was just too short before.
