So I splurged and bought another cob this one was only about 8 bucks more and has all name brand cobs, two 90 watt cobs that run at half watt plus 8x 3watt leds says 400 watt hps equivalent.

Should I put this one at the same height and how does everyone feel about the cob lenses I heard if you take them off they don't get as hot but not sure if that messes with your yield etc.

Hay Phoenix! Looking good in there! How many watts from the wall is the light pulling? Do you know what kind of cobs, cri or kelvins. Not familiar with the brands, but may have some thoughts if you have that information.

Thanks @Iriee Vibez ! 120 true watts from wall I think mainly from the cobs as there 90 watt each full spectrum 3000k epileds cobs running at half wattage says high PPFD output not sure what that means also from 380nm to 730nm I think that might be different models for different nm rating not sure or even what nm means lol. Also has 8x 3W Osram LEDs part of which are uv and ir. It says that it replaces a 300 watt hps and is good for a 2x2 area figure it will be pretty powerful sense my other single cob can do a 2x2 area and this has 2 cobs probably get more yield out of this one for sure though. :frog:

I keep my cobs as high as they can go in my space, and let the plants grow towards it. Rarely now do I lower them as they are so powerful, and aI don't want to risk any issues. So I just put them in and they are alredy about 26 inches away. If they stretch as aI expect, they will be about 12 inches away through the end.

You shouldn't have to get that close, but I have to as a necessity.

Hey nice looking light—congratulations! From looking at those specs, I’m going to conservatively peg 16” as the sweet spot in full flower, maybe a tad closer if you’re running CO2. Gonna go with 18” in veg (496). Plants look awesome!
