I wôuld be very careful, if you have other lights on, adding that much light, that close might be a bit too much and burn the buds and dry them out.

18" is quite close for that type of cob. Try like 24" to start and see how they react.

Hey @MedCzech Thanks so much, I moved it up to 23" is as high as I could get it from the plant in flower I thought that seemed way too low. This is the message they sent me if you have any advise on how far for different plant stages please let me know. It's 160 watts and I believe 50 watt cob.

Thank you for choosing PARFACTWORKS grow lights.

Maybe you have noticed that the COB lens can be demounted if you take off the orange ring.
For seeding, clone and microgreens, growers will need a wider and not that intensive lighting, this is why we make the COB lens demountable.

Here is our hanging suggestion for the PARFACTWORKS 160W model for your reference.

So, if you prefer growing WITHOUT the COB lens:
For seeding, set the hanging height at 18 inches from canopy (keep the surrounding 5w leds off).
For vegetitive, set the hanging height at 12 - 15 inches from canopy (turn on the surrounding 5w leds).

If you prefer growing WITH the COB lens all the time:
For seeding, set the hanging height at 20 inches from canopy (keep the surrounding 5w leds off).
For vegetitive, set the hanging height at 12 - 18 inches from canopy (turn on the surrounding 5w leds).

For bloom, we suggest mounting the COB lens back and turning on the surrounding 5w leds, set the hanging height at 10 - 15 inches from canopy.

I hope this will help, if you have any questions using our product, please feel free to let us know. :-)

It's a solid light. Yep, I think 50w actual, and it should be 40" for seedlings, 30" in veg, and 24 to 18 depending on strain in flower. That is if you are running it full blast with both lights on. I think that gives you best spectrum as well. I would use both and just back I think off and see how she reacts. You will see in a day if she prays to the lights or not.

The light actual draws 86w from the wall, which means you have about 40 coming from the outer cobs and 45 or so from the inner cob. Definitely try running full spectrum at 24". That will give you at least 400 to 600 ppfd, nearly double what the manufacturer says. Not sure why they are under selling the performance. Of if they just for the Numbers wrong.

That is a copy of another light a friend I know has, same exact light almost, and his is set at 35" in veg, and 24" in bloom. Grows nearly all strains at that height he says.

The plant looks really cool. When you get this new light set right on her, her buds are going to explode I bet. She looks like a dark green indica plant. Looking healthy though.

Nice little light. Has UV and IR, really these lights on eBay are getting better and better. Three years ago they were all crap, nowadays you can buy some decent lights there. That little cob will do just fine. The parts they use are the same quality used in more expensive lights. You will see...have fun man!
