Dang, you were the last of a dying breed!! But you will no doubt see some great results from this light, and the heat savings alone will be worth it. Just be careful especially with seedlings, these lights can be surprisingly powerful and roast plants pretty easy. I killed a whole batch of seedlings and should have known better but I'm used to usually vegging under the T5HO's. Live and learn. You may want to keep 'ol Woody for down the road to start seeds with if you end up going that route having a separate area.

Thanks @RivetGrrl ! Do you normally go by the manufacturers recommendations for light distance or is that not accurate?

Another plus thing for me is not having to have the dam thing so close, people were saying that it outperformed a lot of 300 watt panels as well and that there plants were loving it, crazy for 69 bucks and says it has a 3 yr warrenty 30 day return if not satisfied.

Started lst on the 24k she is a pain to lst at this point just very compact.

Continued lst on the younger strawberry being even more aggressive this time.

The older Strawberry got a half dose of flora nova grow (1 tsp).

Is this a pony tail the way you LST? Can you explain this process for a noob like me?

Hey @FullAuto245 ! I have heard of ponytailing but never looked into it maybe what I do is similar not sure but basically if it's too short or compact to bend the plant over intitially by placing your pipe cleaners or material under the branch to anchor I just started hooking it on the leaves of the main top and works great, with the younger strawberry I used two pipe cleaners on the main top one to anchor the plant down and another to anchor the very top of the leaves back to expose another couple tops under it, basically I move the plant leaves around and look for new tops and spread any tops out by anchoring back to bring even more growth and tops continuously and I also leaf tuck. The only thing with anchoring with leaves is you half to train daily pretty much as the leaves move.

That will be great when you get that light, your plants look good now and the training looks like it is going great

I've actually never looked what the recommendations are... My Titan I never really figured out and don't use now, and the QuickGrow lights seem to throw out so many lumens that I keep them about 36" away to begin with and just let the plants grow closer. As they mature they can take more light so they get closer to 18" away at maturity. My tent is a mess right now tho so I have a sative 4" away and some others over 36" away but everything seems good. I should raise the light but it's almost harvest time, the sativa is tied at multiple points up TO the strips and I'm lazy and GOD STOP JUDGING ME :rofl::rofl:

Anyway I know I need to refine it, I wish I could afford a PAR meter, I thought about a cheap lumen meter but I hear too often it's not accurate with LED's, but even a baseline would be better than me just reading the plants and adjusting that way.

@RivetGrrl Thanks for the info! Sounds like you have some beasty plants bet you are gonna have a lot of bud dang! :smoking:

Just made another batch of gummies whoever gave me the bottle cap idea thanks it worked great! I used a fork with the curved end going with the curve of the cap and push down to the bottom prys out really easy. The half moon is about a quarter inch thick. Made 150 gummies, 3 milk caps, 5 soda caps and the half moon with just a quarter cup of the coconut canna oil which has 10 grams each quarter cup of bud.

That was me! They look cool! Can you roll gummies in sugar like a sour straw?
