Torture Gardens

Not cleaver from my side to use coco coir with hard water
Hard water is gonna be tough with coco. Those plants can handle 1.5ec though. Feed em. You can also kinda fight the hard water with fertigating more often. This will give them the feed they need and at least help flush out what they're not drinking faster. Are you checking your ph?

Great start I grow in coco peat and perlite with every organic amendment under the sun

Many thanks all for the comments.

I had a terrible setup idea...:)
All the plants moved into the bloom tent are unhappy the first days but after 1-2weeks they looks happy again. Unsure this will be the case. But this is part of my torture gardens.

Under control for the next week.

Hand watering with bio bizz now. Some roots already under the pots, but i need them to looks better before moving to auto fertigations.

Finger crossed!

The situation is worse than expected.

Plants are start flowering, and they are little dwarfs.

This grow is offensive toward Mephisto.
I am really sorry for my mistakes. I have underestimated low temperature and somehow stress out the plants too much.

I don't feel myself confident with auto in coco in winter.

Sorry all, pathetic starting grow in the community:(

I popped 2 seeds of:
- Old school Blues
- Funky Blues
With the idea to replace the smallest ones.

I ordered some light mix biobizz and i will try to grow them into 3l soil this time. But unsure how I will manage fertigations in both medium.

This is the beginning of a possible disaster:)

Do not beat yourself up. Just take it as a learning experience. It took me some stunted plants to understand that during the seedling stage correct environmental conditions are critical for good development! Just having too low/high humidity or too low/high temps can absolutely stunt these little girls. After the seedling stage, when they start the veg cycle they become much more hardy and tolerant to environmental swings and just more forgiving in general. But the germination/seedling stages ar the most critical as far as keeping everything in check. Ive needed to add humidifiers/de-humidifiers heaters bugger exhaust fans etc. but those first 2-3wks you want temps between 70-85 degrees and humidity or RH at between 50-70%. If you know how to water and not overwater, and keep those temps and rh parameters, you should have alot more success! Hope this helps, still gonna follow, maybe you can start some more since youll have the space. Also, ive still pulled some really great flower from stunted/dwarve plants! Wish you best!

Parameters now should be a bit better, still are very slow:( Plants looks very sad:(
I germinated some more in soil, hopefully this will make some difference.

This year in winter with LED I realised i need to reconsider the heating system. Or considering HPS back during these months.

I bought a 50w ceramic heater to test in the small one.
With light on temp are around 26-28c RH 60-65%
Lights off 23-25c rh 65%

I dont think you are going to see any explosive growth until you get those temps up to 70-75f. 65f is okay for lights out, if your lights on temps are in the 70s. Staying at 60-65f for 24hrs will most likely lead to stunted plants, especially autos. Some photos might be able to push thru that, especially more indica varieties. Autos need a correct environment for at least the first couple weeks of life, when autos are most susceptible to stunting because of environmental stresses. If you know how to water/not over water, and keep temps between 70-85f (preferably between 75-80f!) with lights on 18-24hrs and RH between 60-70% for the first 2-3 wks your plants should be alot happier!

Week 2 ( which i guess is more 3 for some)

I had some issues with the drainage system and i decided to update it.
I hope i didn't stress too much the plants.

Now we have coco coir and soil in comparison.

Hopefully with these I will be more attentive and lucky.
