Self watering Tray2Grow experiment 👀

And I just realized that I lose one of my easy techniques for maintaining even canopies with this method of growing.

I really already knew this, but the last set of pictures just made it stand out in my mind.

I don't think it's really feasible to raise up the plants to get a more even canopy. I'm sure I could make something to use with the individual pots, but the bed is completely out of question.

Girls look nice and happy!:pass:

I thought about raising the tray, easy enough to do but they’re getting 45 DLI which is plenty and they’re fucked up anyways so just letting them go. Pretty sure under normal circumstances the whole canopy would be fairly even

The leaner straightened herself out nicely!

Prepping the 3x3 tent for an autopot run with frosted cherry o’s by speedrun. Experimental run to see how my 2x2 300watt light performs for a whole grow. I usually use this rig for early stage when I’m growing perpetually so they’re usually out of here by day 30ish. I’m using a 5gal bucket for a reservoir.

Ok the bean is dropped! Since I’m using canna nutes now I’m trying their canna coco which has no perlite. I bought the bricks not bags because they seemed easier to store until use. Using the autopot xl with a 3 gal fabric pot with an air base and air dome at the bottom. The hose will hook to a small pump and once I turn the system on the pump should run with the light schedule, which will be 24/0 here. No air bas or dome needed for the trays because they sit on top of water whereas with an autopot the pot is submerged about an inch.

The bigger kids had no visible reaction to the lollipop and defol, they’re just doing their thing
