Northern Grower

are you using a high ratio of phosphorous nute?
i think this is the major cause of that fert taste.
most of us grow in containers. high ratio phosphorous bloom nutes work great for outdoor as it gets washed away pretty quickly but in buckets - it does build-up & very quickly, esp if growing in soil.
This is what i am using for bloom. I use Dr hornby's big bud once 2 weeks in and once 2 weeks from finish. I also use "Final Flush" A few times through flower + flush to do what i can to get rid of the build up. This was the first bottled fert run i've done in a long time. Usually i am pure organic.

Brightens colors in flowers and foliage and promotes vigorous root growth, too! Mix 1-3 tbsp. / gallon of water to encourage budding in flowers, vegetables and ornamental houseplants.
