Harvest & Curing The Water Cure

are you using a high ratio of phosphorous nute?
i think this is the major cause of that fert taste.
most of us grow in containers. high ratio phosphorous bloom nutes work great for outdoor as it gets washed away pretty quickly but in buckets - it does build-up & very quickly, esp if growing in soil.

This is what i am using for bloom. I use Dr hornby's big bud once 2 weeks in and once 2 weeks from finish. I also use "Final Flush" A few times through flower + flush to do what i can to get rid of the build up. This was the first bottled fert run i've done in a long time. Usually i am pure organic.

Derived from Atlantic fish, phosphoric acid and potash, Alaska MorBloom (0-10-10) stimulates exceptional budding and blooming in plants. Brightens colors in flowers and foliage and promotes vigorous root growth, too! Mix 1-3 tbsp. / gallon of water to encourage budding in flowers, vegetables and ornamental houseplants.

Even though the smells aren't there, to me the appeal seems nice. It has it's place and it's fast without being grass/ chlorophyll tasting.

Yeah... didnt look as bad as I expected... I think you're rgiht... its a great cleaner technique pre-processing

Yeah it has the long cure look to it. I was really surprised how fast the buds dried once they were out of the jar.. Literally crispy over night.
In the future, If I had flushed properly I bet I might be able to cut down how long the buds are in the water. To help preserve the terps more.

I was expecting to pour out a jar of mush.. But they held together very well. When i have a bunch of fresh, flushed bud, kicking around i am going to do some experiments to see what can be done with this method.

Go Bailer! Way to experiment some more. More data that wasn't there before!

yeah... with a proper flush prior.. maybe only a day or 2 to eat up most leftover nutes... tehn out for a "normal" dry to keep some of the terps..
or maybe off to the freezer to finish?

Well i'd like to play around with it anyway.. Se what the limitations are.

exactly... maybe each of us run a couple dif tests simultaneous... aquire result data 2X as fast
:)

Difference x days makes to the final product, eg how many days before the bud smokes with no smell.
