Cannatrol Cool Cure

Don’t they talk about it measuring “total water content something like that? I remember something in the video about that and the culinary stuff that is was designed off from :pass:
It’s not measuring anything but the environmental factors. It’s designed to bring the dew point down quickly, but not too quick….. then back up slightly for cure. It’s not measuring anything inside the flowers.

Seems like it’s working well. I’ve been watching this product and company for awhile but invested in another product which is still working fine. I do like the insight in how you’re using it.

Yeah, the $1600 is a pretty hefty price tag to squallow!

But, without a doubt, it is absolutely worth it!:headbang::headbang::headbang:

With a 4 day dry and a little over a three day cure, to move more bud in, There is absolutely no way you could tell it was done in that short of time frame! That's half of a good conventional dry!

For those that press flower, as Frank has found out, this should increase your rosin production and increase the increase quality of your rosin. it should make your pressings more consistent.

The ice water hash drying possibility really intrigues me! Not needing to buy a freeze dryer will save a considerable amount of money! I guess really the only downside to that is that, that would need me to upgrade my press and also I have eyeballed a really neat ice water wash system and it's not cheap.

So if you're eyeballing this unit and thinking about buying it or just sitting on the fence, jump that fence, brother!
The only downside is a thinner pocketbook and I think a bit of Peace of Mind is well worth it!

I’ve heard the freeze dryer is hit or miss…..(the canna scientist in one of the videos discussing the Cannatrol touched on it….said it’s a great way to dry your bud out so much it turns to powder when you process it..)
I doubt very seriously if I would have two pounds of ice hash to dry it at one time. Should be able to spread it out relatively thin over some parchment paper over all the trays and it should dry relatively quickly.

This will be the technique you have to figure out….

If you cover the trays with parchment, there will be no airflow…. And mold is likely. I think you’ll need smaller squares of paper, with open space in between, to ensure good circulation…. :pass:

Yeah, I figured that it would be small squares to keep up the air flow.

All right, here's another thing,.
This is a ridiculously clean burning bud I'm smoking. II have it in my little semi fat one hitter. My ash is normally pretty white, .......Go Go Organics..........but the ash I'm seeing right now is bright white. It really stands out and is very noticeable. This girl was greasy as hell and I think this process really worked well preserving all those Terps. I definitely think the greasiness is from the UVA.

I definitely had to share that real-time. Since I've been "testing" :eyebrows: :eyebrows: This process, I've been smoking more flower. As good as that lovely Rosin is,lovethemIt's good to get the full effect of smoking the flower every once in a while..
I'm Might even break out my bong!:hookah:
I'm so glad I preserved that Asian haze! Have a plan for Asian haze. It's probably not going to be able to happen until roughly this time next year. I want to cross this with my Crockett's Tangie. I think this might help a little bit with bud structure it should be a interesting combo. Or Dutch passion Lemon Z. I haven't grown the tangy yet, so I'm going to make a seed run the very first time, thus the opportunity for the cross.

@Mossy
You see Auntie! It's a good Sati!:pass:And it does seem to help relatively well with the pain.
