Hey everyone,

I’ve been growing autoflowers for a bit now, but this is my first time breeding them! I graduated from Davis with a degree in Plant Breeding in 22 and have gained some hands-on experience with plant breeding rice plants since then. Now I want to dive into the world of cannabis breeding!

The plan is to do a small breeding project, first starting with two highly inbred feminized plants and cross them to make a stable F1 thats still feminized! I also may try to do some inbreds. Ultimately, I’ll be looking for plants that are easy to grow, provide solid yield and can hopefully come across some cool terp combinations. More than anything, I want to document the process here so others can learn alongside me, and so I can get feedback, ideas, and tips from folks with more experience.I’ll be sharing photos, methods, and updates as things move forward—and I’d love any input you’ve got.

Also, curious—are any of you already selling seeds? How do you go about doing that? I’ve seen some people operate through Instagram or other low-key setups, but I’m not sure what’s actually working for people? Also what would you say is desired in the space?

I looking forward to learning and building with this community. I included a picture from the first autos I ever did just to give a reference of where I started my grow off.

Nothing wrong with breeding using regular seeds as well :eyebrows: :pass: :headbang: View attachment 1738430View attachment 1738431

Gnome Automics started his breeding journey here, and built a thriving, legit business. Plus a few others. Good luck :pass:
You’re absolutely right and that’s something I’d love to try as well! I appreciate the share, it’s great to hear that others have built up within the community!!

You should definitely try breeding! I sell genetics at NancysOwn.com and have been breeding for many years. Feel free to hmu for some tips and tricks!
