Buzzard takes a trip down the Breeding Rabbit Hole

It is now Day 63. I haven't had a lot to report for a couple of weeks. The male was chopped and the girls have been fattening nicely with a lot of seeds peeking out. All three girls started out very differently but they are all finishing similarly. They are on three different speeds though. I ended up having to bend a few tops on all of them to keep them away from the lights. As they fatten I am adding yo yo's for support. There is a very piney, almost Christmas tree aroma coming from them, and they are all showing some color. I managed to save a bit of pollen form the male for some possible projects as well. Day 74 and we are finishing up nice. Seeds are peeking out and ripening nicely. Lots of purple and pink coming out. Smells are very strong pine with some citrus starting to add to it. Very nice smell that takes me way back to the 80's. Almost has that old pine tree air freshener smell like our cars did back in the day. The fastest will probably be another week or so, and the other two will be an extra week. Looking forward to growing out some of the seed and doing some pheno hunting.

Today is day 88 for the girls. I took down the top 1/3 of the two earlier plants about a week ago, but forgot to get a pic. This is a pic of what was left. It is getting chopped today as well as the top 1/3 of the straggler in the background. Bud pic is from the straggler. Had a chance to sample from what was chopped a week ago and was very surprised. The whole plant was seeded so I expected most of the plants energy would have gone to producing seed and that potency would be less. This ended up being very nice smoke. The heavy pine has faded some as citrus and some skunkiness has joined the spectrum. The result is very nice and the buzz is quite strong without a total couch lock. I did get a lot done while under it's influence. I have an abundance of seeds to clean and dry so I would have to call this step of the journey a success. Looking forward to pheno hunting my progeny and working it for a couple more gens.
