Harvest & Curing The Water Cure

Has anyone tried putting the jars of water in the fridge? Would this help with the disintegration? I don't have a large enough crop to really feel comfortable experimenting.

So i went to check on my MI5 girls today that are about 2 weeks from chop. And once again with this strain i got mold in my main cola.... that sucks....damn you dense mother fucker buds...lol...

I cut the moldy part of my plant and the rest looks good.

So i was thinking about what to do with my moldy buds and i remember reading something about water curing to get rid of the mold, is this true?

Can i water cure it, dry it and smoke it or should i throw it out?

And because its mold we talking about i just want answers from peeps that KNOW if this helps or not.

hay bro,what I've done in the past is cut away all the mould then water cure the remaining weed,remember to keep the weed fully submerged...I wrap mine in some muslin also change the water every day.

So you are saying that i should throw away everything that have mold that i can see then cut the rest of my plant and water cure the rest of my buds?

So no way of curing the moldy buds and use them in a SAFE way?

Do you water cure all of your buds now a days or only plants that got mold on them?

Yes bro I cut away all the mould and I would water cure the remainder of that bud,if only one bud on the plant was affected that's the only bit I would water cure.

Doing my first water cure on the random leaves and trim colected during a grow, and WOW just the first day I've changed the water twice because I couldn't believe how yellowish green and nasty it looked and smelled lol! And this is organic! Lol! Just wanted to say thanks to the contributors here, it got my bravery up to trying it so far so good. Will have much more and better trim soon at harvest. The trim I had been saving up so far has been just waiting and drying in a paper bag, it was just enough to cram into a mason jar. Having some dried already didn't appear to matter so far. End goal being canna butter or oil that doesn't taste horrible like previously lol. If Muddy says he won't make oil without water curing, that's good enough for me to believe!
