Harvest & Curing The Water Cure

Got two more plants from the balcony to harvest. I got a small pail of small buds. I threw in all the bud particles when I took the seeds out of 7 plants. I will never never never do that again two will be my limit unless I put them into the food dehydrator and get a tumbler like the pros do. Just way too hard on the back sitting at te kitchen table for 40 hours ripping buds apart and taking the seeds out.

After i get the last of the pants harvested I will start the water rinse for a week and cook up a batch of oil. I found a slow cooker at a yard sale and only paid $6 for it. Boy does that make a cheapskate like me wicked happy. Whoo hoo whoo hoo.

Does anyone know how to make smoking grade oil? You know the kind you put on papers before you roll your bud up to give it that old time hash oil flavor. I take it the kind of oil you all are talking about is eating grade stuff to fry your smoke meat sandwich in.

What would happen to the d9thc if one adds some citric acid to the water ? would that effect it negative ?
I think adding a little could help to preserve a lighter green colour, like it does prevent other "vegetables" from getting brown/oxydate (think of apple- or banana-cuts).
What do the chemists think ?

I put a bud in a jar of water last night. It wouldnt sink then and its still floating, and 22hrs later the water is as clear as it was yesterday. BTW it went into the h2o just picked. Any ideas on wtf is happening?

Was the bud wet or dry? If im not mistaken, the bud is usually wet for a water cure so it easily sinks. Dry bud may take some time to become "water logged" before it sinks.

thats rite pher, water cure usually is planned and is done from the start...w/ some exception like mold in the mild of a dry cure or some thing to that affect...

The bud was wet , clipped just b4.
Any idea y water is staying clear? Its been in the water 24hrs.

The buds will float and remain floating. I put them in a net bag and weigh them down with water filled soda bottles. Change the water each day. The water will become stinkier with each day.

What do you expect to see? The water will not turn bright green or anything like that. The smelliest fraction will only be slightly cloudy.
