Indoor Teetee's 2021 Monster Hunt

Day 18 - repotted
Hey man look at my new title! :eyebrows: :eyebrows: :eyebrows: :eyebrows: :baked::rofl::rofl:
Ha ha mate, but I'm really not worthy!!!
Love it bro :crying: I hope u get there.. stick around the monster makers thread for tips and tricks :worship:

Tips and tricks?????
I can't believe how ridiculous my set up looks....

Nothing to see here, Cuntstubble.

Luckily the windows are tinted, but this is a nightmare. I have the 6" ducting there at the bottom of the tent trailing behind the screen towards the window for cooler ground level air intake, and the exhaust is up there on top of the boxes.

I'll be doing something safer with the cables on the floor......

Back to the grow, and they have taken well to their new homes. Here they are day 18, two days after repotting them.
The Night Queen is looking great in her 25L airpot...
Day 18 NQ 4.JPG

She's got good space between nodes and her fans are letting light through nicely.
From above you can see she's looking really healthy and I'm hoping she's gonna be a beauty when she's done....
Day 18 NQ 2.JPG

The Colorado Cookie is also doing well, and the new leaves are looking less dark, so I think she's gonna get busy soon....
Day 18 CC 1.JPG

I remember she can be a bit leafy so I'll have to get into some leaf tucking to allow her to get some height.

From above you can see a bit of heat stress in the lower leaves, so I'll probably dig out an air circulation fan to keep the underside air flowing.
Day 18 CC 2.JPG

Finally the Blackberry Kush... she has really picked up after the earlier hiccup, and is getting on with business....
Day 18 BBK 2.JPG

Not bad for 2 days, and from above she looks very healthy...

There we are then, another year done. Thanks everyone on AFN for the laughs and good vibes.

This night used to be the big one.... a night of total excess. Now that's all fading memories, but I'm glad I partied as hard as I did back then.

Have bloodshot New Year everyone, and may 2022 bring you enormous bushes of big fat sticky buds!

Girls all properly up and running now bro.. the stealth set up rocks as far as I'm concerned.. a man's gotta do and all that..

Hope u have a great NYE with many sneaky vapes to the point of incapacitation.. is that a word.. it is now :smoking:

Here's looking forward to more monsters in 2022 :d5:

Day 21 - so far, so good....
Hi, back to work tomorrow, so just a quick one.

Day 21, and they are doing very well.
The Night Queen's in a 25L Airpot and is going for it....
Day 21 NQ 1.JPG

From the side you can see loads going on underneath. She's got plenty of light getting in there to give those side shoots a boost....
Day 21 NQ 2.JPG

The Colorado Cookies in a 5L airpot, doing well and although a bit spotty in places from the heat stress, is looking lush up top....
Day 21 CC 1.JPG

I might whip off her top fan leaves in a day or two to let the developing side shoots underneath get some light....
Day 21 CC 2.JPG

Lastly the Blackberry Kush, also looking very well....
Day 21 BBK 1.JPG

She's very happy in that 5L airpot too, but I reckon she'll explode with growth when I get her into a 25L.

I'm hoping the new Coco will come in the next few days, they are growing very quickly and they are into their 4th week, so it wont be long till the stretch and they start to flower.

They each have their own Skyline 400 now.... I started with one, but after repotting I put a second one in, and today I added the third. I keep them on 24/7.
Temps are blistering, always 30°C or more, so I've put in an air circulation fan and upped the intake and extraction to get some air flowing round, and I'm watering every day to keep the medium at the right EC as much as possible.
Evaporation of the water component in the Coco will mean the nutes will become more concentrated and fuck things up. The 4th week is crucial, as they really speed up..... this is where monsters are born.
Keeping the nute EC fairly low will also help keep things on track, they started on an EC 0.7 feed and are now on an EC 0.8 pH 5.8 feed with plenty of Cal-Mag and a little bit of extra nitrogen, plus the usual Multizyme, Roots Excellurator and Drip Clean.

Anyway hope you're all having a good one, thanks for looking in!

Fantastic! Nice bit of growth in just a couple days. I know it is mostly heat you are battling and the airpots don't hold moisture well. Would a cover of some sort on the top help cut down on evaporation losses?

(note - teetee says week 4, crucial, monster generator time)

I dunno @DCLXVI mate, I have never considered covering the pot. First thoughts are about the root temp... the nute temp going in is already 30°C plus, so I dread to think what covering the pot will do to that - I usually have my nutes at 21° to 25°C.
I don't use the 5L ones very much but I really notice how quick they can dry out. I'm hoping that Coco comes in the next few days.

Week 4 is a weird week. They change so fast from being seedlings to proper plants, and this can cause issues.
Watering is one, because in the first few weeks you don't wanna be watering daily, but as the needs of the plant accelerate, you can be caught out still being careful, the plant doesn't get what it needs and slows down or even locks out. Not a great thing to happen a week before stretch.
This is also the time to increase Cal-Mag as the plant gets more demanding and works harder under non stop 24/7 lighting.
Week 4 is the time when your perfect looking plants can change drastically, and this will affect the rest of the grow, because it's harder to recover from any issues as it's so close to the time when they stop vegging and start flowering.

If you're lucky enough to have a flyer that emerges from week 4 unscathed, then the monster will come!

Silly idea but... would putting your nutes in the fridge for a few minutes before watering help? Chill em down a bit.

EDIT: I can only imagine how that might go over with the family situation. hah nevermind!

Ha ha ha, that would be fun trying to fit a 20L bucket of nute in the fridge, but you made me remember something..... ICE PACKS!!!
I've seen some growers use these to deal with hot nutes.... perfect, so thanks for jogging my brain cell(s) mate!
It hit 36°C today FFS and this is still early summer here.

The Coco arrived today too, so I'll have to have a couple of caps and get on with it.
Have a good day Bro!
