Unhappy about something. Too much N? Tips down but it ain't dark as heck overfed lookin either

Yup it’s too much N not all plants will go dark before clawing. My LZ has been slightly sensitive to the nitrogen the whole grow been constantly adjusting the N lower

How big a scoop? What's the ec and ph in the rez?
Heh good question! I saw two of those plastic scoops from like a coffee can sitting there. One was massive but I didn't fill or weigh them. They didn't see the coffee scale I guess but my helper kept it alive while I was down so it's all good compared to being dead!

Drained & refilled the res, currently sitting at 5.9pH and lowered to ~550ppm, mixed with RO water so I know what's in there, and I did flush until I saw the runoff in the 600 range. I should have looked where it started but I didn't. Little panicky trying to get the situation corrected.

600 might be little low but probably better if she was over fed. Might need to bring it up a bit in the next days. I think @Mara Cachafa said he was using 4.5 grams MC 1 part to his LZ’s

Yes, I'm feeding 4.5 g/GL of MegaCrop 1-part from day 35 to the end, plus 1 g/GL of kelp during flower. I used to go all the way up to 6 g/GL, per the feed calculator at Green leaf nutrients, who say the plants won't take up the excess nitrogen. But last run I tried holding back on the MC and adding kelp (potassium) and got my best results ever. So I'm doing it again.

My gurls have been fine with anything up to 1000ppm. I only saw a little tip burn when i pushed it into the mid 1200s

Right on, thanks for the help everyone. I have no idea how strong the feed was they got for a couple weeks. I suspect a lot with the size of the scoop I saw down there. Hahahah, ah well. Next batch is going to be 4g/gal MC and 1.5g/gal epsom. I know for sure they weren't getting the epsom salt since the bag didn't move an inch.

I think I need to get on a different nute line so I can adjust things a little easier. I'll be looking at the 2 part and I know ManOGreen has some insanely well researched feed chart for it.

Quick update. Plant is looking better having been on a regular feed mix for a couple weeks at this point. I know some of the damage is done and won't go back to looking perfect. However, the buds look to be developing normally. I did finally measure the "scoop" I found near the reservoir. About 40-45g! So the plants went from 4g/gal to 10g/gal. Yikes! So yeah that explains the green claw tips. Heh. Ah well, tough plant, tough genetics.

Glad you measured that scoop! And yes these are very hardy genetics! If its been flowering for almost 4wks and been thru all the stresses youve mentioned, you may wann go thru the lower end of the plant amd look for any pollen sacs. Not suggesting that these would herm, but every plant has the potential to make a couple male flowers when stressed in flower.

Good idea, thanks! I'll give a careful look tonight,
