Indoor Teetee's 2021 Monster Hunt

Top work! Quite the turn out for a couple plants that almost got scuttled! Out of curiosity since you mentioned it, where were you looking to move?

Some really nice plants Teetee!
Thanks Mikael! :pass:
Amazing work, nice harvest!
Cheers PA. I'd like to take the credit, but these Dutch Passion genetics are almost foolproof!

I know!!! Can't believe a had that little crisis of faith back then. I stopped taking the Emgality and I'm back to my usual happy go lucky self!
My Wife wants a move back to the UK to support her eldely Parents, but after living out here for the last 7-8 years, the prospect of living back in the ghetto is a bit daunting. Inner city London is no place to bring up kids, so if we came home, I'd love a place in the countryside, anywhere south of Watford, or (well) north of Manchester/Liverpool, even Scotland!!! If we stay here in Aus, a move up the coast towards the tropics might be nice. It's pretty much COVID free where we are, so it would be stupid to leave really.

Hey man, I'm (half) new, bumped into this. Great great stuff; I personally just switched over from coco to DWC because I couldn't get these types of results, and I'm going to post again because I realized what you did in the OP: you grow better when you're logging (and trying to impress strangers on the internet). Your shit really is lovely.

Anyway, I wanted to make two suggestions: first, with regard to the vape situation, let me recommend a Dynavap. It's manual, so you don't have to worry about battery, and more importantly, you get a tactile response, something to do with your hands. It's not quite joint like, but it's a better substitute for the way you use a joint I've found (I hope that makes sense; I may or may not be very high). It can also make anything from whispy delicious vape to slightly less delicious clouds, can easily run through a bubbler, etc. Even gives a bit of a kick due to high temps (this is a bit model dependent).
As far as cluster headaches go, do some research on psilocybin mushrooms. I never looked much into it, but I did a bit of research work (academic and personal) on MDMA for PTSD and you bump into all sorts of people doing all sorts of psychedelic research. Apparently, there is a reasonable body of anecdotal evidence (and soon some randomized, controlled clinical research from Yale) that shrooms, possibly other psychedelics, are quite useful for cluster headaches.
Here's a piece NatGeo did on this a few years back.

Final weights
Been a while since my last post, had to move home AGAIN. I've lost count how many times we've moved in the last 5 years.....

Before we left our last gaff, I had taken down the remaining 2 plants... the Night Queen and Chronic Ryder both came down at the end of October. Because I knew we were moving, I used the tent to dry them rather than my usual starting another run.

After drying, I stored the buds in Mason jars with Boveda 62 packs for a month's curing.

So here's the final weights....

Blackberry Kush 4.89oz (138.6g)
Chronic Ryder 6.42oz (182g)
Night Queen 8.43oz (239g)

Making a total of 19.74 ounces or 559.6g. Not a bad result, the quality is great but no real monsters as of yet.

That brings me to what next....

This new place we live in is deep in suburbia..... not easy to smoke, let alone grow. We're in the tropics so we're coming into the hot (and wet) season, daytime temps are already in the 30°Cs and at night it's in the mid 20°Cs, and by Feb it will be absolutely sweltering.
Loads of old folk living around, so naturally they all have their bloody windows open or are out tinkering away in their gardens at all hours.

I made sure to make a batch of Canna Coconut oil before we left to keep up the THC levels while we got settled in, but to be sure, the day we moved in, I had a Mighty Vape delivered and waiting for me along with a couple of 'Smokebuddy' hand held filters to exhale into, and so I now have a way of getting caned without the smell.

I was very sceptical getting a vape, I'm such a heavy 100% green smoker, I was worried I wouldn't get stoned using one, but by fuck do these things WORK!!!

I also bought 8 dosing capsules, so I can load up a few of these, and chug on the Mighty whenever I fancy it. One capsule is enough, but on occasion, I'll do 2 and that melts me more than a joint could.

Best thing is, The amount I grind up for one decent king size joint fills around 7-8 caps, and during a day, I will go through those 8 caps...... I'm using an eighth of the amount of weed that I used for joints!

Put it another way, I'm now making a day's amount of weed (that I'd use in joints) last a week using the vape.

Unfortunately my Wife refuses to vape, she's also worried about not getting stoned enough, and she likes to drag the joint out for a good 30-40 mins while watching some shit on the TV, so it's driving me mad watching her 'waste' all that precious bud while she lets it dangle around in her hand billowing away. Every time I say, try the vape, she goes on about how it's too complicated (!) and hasn't got time to learn from me.... just shove the capsule in, set the temp and suck on it... what more do you have to bloody do!!!

Anyway, we have to get a grow on ASAP, as there'll be another inspection in around 15 weeks, so I'm sorting out a space in the garage, and will sow a few beans in the next couple of days so I can have them in a tent by the weekend.

They are gonna have to be fast ones again, so I'm leaning towards 70 to 75 day finishers, like my good old Night Queen, and Blackberry Kush.
I might also do a Colorado Cookies and perhaps another Chronic Ryder or a Jack Herer.

I'll let you know what I decide very soon, until then happy growing!!!

Keep trying with the wife and the vape. Just hand her one all ready to go when you know she wants to smoke. Vaping works very well as ya know. It's easier on the lungs too. Maybe she'll like that part.
I hope you guys can find a good place one of these days ya don't have to worry about inspections or neighbors.!

My hubby is similar with the vape. Smoking a bowl is a ritual for him. I just kinda shove the vape in his face between puffs, lol, which has him hitting it more now and needing the bowl less. I've noticed him packing them smaller now and one lasts him all night now. He has made remarks about how much better it tastes in the vape and how it does indeed get him stoned. If nothing else, maybe try approaching it from a "you have GOT to try this in the vape so you can taste how good the real flavor is" perspective. Also passively talking about how much bud it saves for you may help.

The inspection thing is odd to me. Is that typical where you are? We rented for years and never had any sort of inspection, so maybe its just a regional thing?

It seems to be pretty common outside the US and it is making it's way to be more common here.
I'm just glad I own and don't have to ever worry about that crap.

Ah moving again? Such a hassle! It takes a while to get settled in and get things setup just so. Good luck with the stealth growing. I know you're a pro and will have it sorted in short order.

I'd say that's a pretty awesome harvest you got already. Won't last long though eh?

Here in Australia, it's right across the board. They have a very itinerate population always on the move, plenty of reasons, but a lot because of work, or to escape a toxic relationship.

Right now, bacause COVID restrictions were so harsh in the state of Victoria (main City of Melbourne was locked down for the longest), and also in New South Wales (with Sydney), many residents have made the decision to relocate to rural locations away from restrictions. This state of Queensland was very careful to close regional state borders and keep the cases down to the point where there has literally been zero cases for most of these 2 years. Now borders have opened, everyone wants to come here to be safe.

All changing now, and so now we're getting hardened city types moving in and bringing their city lifestyle with them, so kids are getting delinquent, crime on the rise, COVID cases rising, and rentals are thin on the ground. A lot of landlords have put their places on Air BNB instead and charge literally 7x the amount they could have got while renting. Because property prices are so high in Sydney and Melbourne, people are selling up for a couple of million, and buying 2 properties up here for the same money.

How this has affected the rental market? References are hard to verify interstate, so the agencies have to keep a close check on the properties. Unfortunately there's a lot of domestic violence in Aus (alcohol related) and meth is BIG over here, so properties are getting trashed with all the violence, and meth is being cooked up everywhere. A lot can happen in 3 months!!!

As well as the 3 monthly inspections, a lot of agencies are also Meth testing properties after they are vacated as an assurance, people are moving into places and getting seriously ill from the fumes absorbed into the buildings. What lovely times we live in, eh?

Cheers DC, it's been about a month since we moved, and I just can't find a suitable place to grow and be able to hide it from not just the neighbours, but now also the kids.
In just this month, bearing in mind we have never left any evidence lying around in the past, my Daughter has found my Wife's cigarettes twice in a room she's not supposed to go in (an ensuite bathroom) and I had to take the blame Grrrr.... and now she's prowling around at night looking to find any more and get on my case about it. And my Son nearly burst in on me having a vape at 1 in the morning FFS.
I've been nailing it into them about making New Years resolutions, and I'm gonna turn into Sgt Foley and make them pay for snooping around...

As a bonus, my Kids (and maybe even I) will get fit and lose some weight, and the Wife will hopefully give up the fags..... I'm still working on her to get on with the vape and it's slowly progressing.....

With an imminent inspection (in about 14 weeks), I had to get something going now, so I planted 3 beans a couple of weekends ago, and got them started in a cardboard box in the garage. Night Queen, Colorado Cookies and Blackberry Kush.

More on that later. Enjoy the holidays everyone!
