Day 40 - varying stages of flowering
How's it going?
Been a bit slack this week or two. There's been a couple of times where I've come to water them of an evening to find I left 3 out of the four lights off since the last day's feed..... grrrr.
The Reeker has been the lucky one with the light over it being on the whole time, but the others will have suffered minor inconveniences.... if it was nature, then I'd say there's been a couple of days of patchy cloud.

It's day 40 for most of them, but the Reeker is 4 days younger, so here she is, day 36...
Day 36 Reek.JPG

She's nice and vibrant, plenty of tops showing and in the early stages of flowering. I'm just starting to see some pistils.

Skywalker is also in very early flower. I was a bit worried she might be a photoperiod earlier in the week, but thankfully, I'm just starting to see some pistils in those tops. I've given her a bit of a clear out underneath and removed any straggly thin stems. Here she is on day 40...
Day 40 Sky .JPG

She's not 100% happy and is on a slightly stronger feed than the others. She is a bigger, more bushy plant than the others, and I'm deciding if I should up her feed a touch more.

Nugz is a bit more developed than the first two.... late early flowering I would say!
Day 40 Nugz.JPG

I've also given her a bit of a tidy up downstairs. She's looking great.

Even better is the Small Lecter. She's well into flowering, with buds I'd normally see on plants a week older than she is. Here on day 40...
Day 40 Lect 1.JPG

She's a good compact size, and hopefully will look beautiful when she's done!
Here's a close up of the flowers...
Day 40 Lect 2.JPG

I suppose the Small Lecter is gonna be a fast finisher, the Nugz will be standard time, and the Skywalker will take a week or two longer (and hopefully will pick up and get a bit bigger than the others). Reeker will probably finish the same time as Skywalker.... all around Xmas and New Year!

Take it easy, and thanks for taking a look!

Day 59 - Well into flowering New
Hi, it's been a while, but it's all going pretty well despite the infernal temps, up in the mid 30°C's, and pant drenchingly high humidity between 85 and 95%.... Summer in the Tropics!
Here they are as a group on day 59....
Day 59 Group.JPG

The big one in the back left is the Reeker, with Small Lecter back right. Nugz is front right with Skywalker in the front left.

The Reeker is actually 4 days younger than the others on day 55, and is HUGE.
Because she's so big, and also cos of the heat, she's a very thirsty girl. I missed one feed on day 53 and here's what she looked like on day 54...
Day 54 Reek.JPG

...all her leaves hanging down limp AF. As you can see in todays's pic, she picked herself up again pretty quickly....
Day 55 Reek.JPG

I just started her on the PK13/14 today, and she'll be on that for a week. She's loading up with bud, and has got some nice long colas forming, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. She looks like she'll be done in early Jan.

The Nugz is on her last day of PK 13/14...
Day 59 Nugz 1.JPG

She's squat but full of (ahem) ..... Nugs.
Here's a view from the front to show what's happening under those leaves....
Day 59 Nugz 2.JPG

Here's a closer shot of the main cola...
Day 59 Nugz 3.JPG

... and from above to show her girth....
Day 59 Nugz 4.JPG

I remember @Sawney_bean saying he thought this Nugz G2 is bigger than the average.... what do you reckon now mate... on track still?
Do you think I should take a load of leaves of like @hope2grow does?

Skywalker has also been on the PK for a week, finishing today. She's picked up after a bit of a stroppy few weeks and has responded well to the PK boost.
Day 59 Sky.JPG

I think the Nugz and the Skywalker will be done in 3 weeks, somewhere around the 29th Dec.

Finally Small Lecter. She finished her week of PK13/14 a week ago, so is nearly done now...
Day 59 Lect 1.JPG

Those buds are very heavy and bow out to the max like the one on the left. The ones on the right had to be rescued and held with stakes as they fell right over......
Day 59 Lect 2.JPG

From above, you can see there's a good amount of solid bud....
Day 59 Lect 3.JPG

I still reckon there's a couple of weeks left in her. These close ups show the trichomes looking mainly milky with maybe a couple of random ambers....
Day 59 Lect 4.JPG

To be honest, given the temps and humidity, I'm amazed there's any trichomes at all!
Day 59 Lect 5.JPG

My thoughts turn to mould... it's a dead cert given the conditions, so the moment I see anything, I'll be chopping.

Thanks for taking a look, I've gotta skin up and watch the football..... hope Arsenal drop a couple of points!

Amazing grow mate.
It's the biggest I have seen all 4 😆
The nugz is defo the biggest have seen but pot size is defo a factor. Well done that man. 👏 if you have mould concerns I would remove some leef matter for better air flow . That wee lecter has some chunky nugz indeed and you are the first to grow small lecter . Noice .
Take care mate 👍 enjoy the heat 🥵 🔥

Looking nice mate  Small Lecter looking very chunky :headbang:

Day 77 - nearly done New
Merry Christmas!
Just another day here, high 30°C's as usual, not a cloud in the sky.

I cropped the Small Lecter about 2 weeks ago on day 64 after I spotted some mould in her fat colas.
I'll do a separate post for her after this one.

Nugz and Skywalker are close to finishing now, so rather than watch all that lot go mouldy too, I stopped the feeds and removed all the fan leaves.
After 3 days of no feed, the Nugz looks like this...
Day 77 Nugz 1.JPG

All bud, no fluff.
Here's a view from the top...
Day 77 Nugz 2.JPG

Somewhere in early flower, I think the uppermost tops only on the main stem got a bit of light burn or heat stroke or something, because the bud literally stopped developing. There was practically no main cola, and the tops were all covered in dark red pistils....
Day 77 Nugz 3.JPG

The side branches, on the other hand, grew nice fat buds. You can see one of the weird upper buds in the very top left corner...
Day 77 Nugz 5.JPG

After a couple of days of no feeding, those side branches are really hanging down and just about ready to chop. The whole plant has this kind of sepia look to her which makes me think there's a few amber trichs around.
Here's some close ups of some of the good bud....
Day 77 Nugz 7.JPG

Day 77 Nugz 8.JPG

....and a slightly closer look at those trichomes. If you squint, theres some amber amongst the milkies....
Day 77 Nugz 9.JPG

The Skywalker has a silvery sheen to it, the trichomes are mainly milky, so I'm hoping she'll go more golden as the days flash by.
Here she is today day 77...
Day 77 Skywalker 1.JPG

I chopped all the fluff away and removed all fan leaves, so she can finish off with less chance of mould getting into her. I stopped feeding her a few days ago, but gave her a bit yesterday to tide her over a bit longer.
Here's that magnificent main cola...
Day 77 Skywalker 2.JPG

and the side branches aren't too bad either....
Day 77 Skywalker 3.JPG

The buds are very sticky...
Day 77 Skywalker 4.JPG

Day 77 Skywalker 5.JPG

... and finally a closer look at those trichs...
Day 77 Skywalker 6.JPG

There is a few ambers knocking around so she won't be far away either.

Lastly the Reeker... she's a big girl...
Day 73 Reeker 1.JPG

Here's another view....
Day 73 Reeker 2.JPG

NIce long colas and plenty of them too. I have again removed all the fan leaves and fluff, but will continue feeding her for a week or two more because I think she's got another couple of weeks in her yet.

I'm planning on chopping the Nugz tomorrow night, then the Skywalker one or two days later.
The Reeker will then have the tent to herself, so I'll get the yoyos out and spread her out for her last few weeks and maximise the bud.

Anyway, the football's on, so I must run, have a happy New Year filled with bountiful sticky harvests!

Day 64 - Small Lecter crop New
Hi Again.
As I said in the last post, I took the Small Lecter down on day 64.
I've never cropped a plant so early, but this has been a super quick grow from word go. My first "fast auto".
I knew she was close... the last pic I took of her was on day 59 where her huge buds were bowing out to the sides...
Day 59 Lect 2.JPG

I carried on feeding her daily, and checking the trichomes every few days.
On day 64 I took a few pics with the macro lens and checked them out on the computer...
Day 64 Lect 11.JPG

Looking nice and sticky!
I zoomed in to get a closer look...
Day 64 Lect 22.JPG

Mainly cloudy with a sprinkling of amber.

I looked at another cola...
Day 64 Lect mould 23.JPG

And then I saw it... a pale grey foggy look a couple of inches from the top...
Day 64 Lect mould 34.JPG

BASTARD MOULD GRRRRRRRRRR.

So I took her down that night and chopped off anything suspicious.
The remainder... the surviving bud... was hung in boxes to dry.
I checked a week after only to find more bloody mould (GRRRRRR).

It was very wet gear when I chopped her, having last watered her the night before the crop. Hanging long stems thick with bud in cardboard boxes, in humid weather wasn't such a great idea.

I strapped on my loupes and ruthlessly sacrificed more bud and I think I got it all, because this evening... over 2 weeks after cropping, I checked them again, and it was all dried to 55%RH and no more mould in any of it.

Here's what I lost...
Lect mould 1.JPG

You can see how i've cut down well into healthy bud.
Luckily the mould was in the top halves of the stems. Unluckily those were the chunkiest buds.
GRRRRRRRRR.

But this is what I managed to save....
Lect crop 1.JPG

That's all dried stems, and here's it all clipped and ready to weigh...
Lect crop 2.JPG

Thats 114g of good solid bud, and another 7g of smaller bud.
Lect crop 3.JPG

So thats 121g or 4.3 ounces, all jarred with Bovedas, which isn't bad considering that there's probably about 4 ounces in the bin.
Let's hope the others are mould free, they're gonna be much bigger hauls!
I'm gonna have to buy a load of Mason jars cos I've only got one left. Still got so much left from my last grow ha ha!

Cheers then.

That reeker is huge!!! The rest all look pretty tasty!!! One question? What sport are you referring to as “football” american or european? I love seeing posts from other countries. In america we have write mold, instead of mould. I think its really interesting how language has developed and spread. Even inside America the accents and vernacular varies state to state. Its always piqued my interest. Like i said plants look great! Hope you are well, sorry about the “mould” thats one thing i think we all dont like everywhere lol.

Hey @KingRatt thanks for your comments. I'm really pleased with how this grow has gone... really difficult climate, but I should have plenty in reserve to have a break over the next few months. The worst months are Jan and Feb, it gets so humid and hot then, so growing at that time of year is out of the question.
I believe football is a sport where by definition, you use your feet to play. NOT HANDS, so I'm talking European football, or Soccer (but I hate that term too). Over here in Australia their version of Football (or Footie aka AFL) is a crazy game played in an oval field with plenty of violence... we called it Aussie Rules in the UK. They also use the term 'football' to descibe Rugby League as well, so they are a very confusing bunch.
The English language variants across the Altantic are indeed very interesting. Aluminium, Labour, Mummy are other favourite words to argue about! The amount of times I've been stuck on Wordle trying to guess a word that's spelled in Americanese!
Gotta thank @Sawney_bean for another crop of sticky bud! Cheers Bro! You're going to heaven mate!
