Indoor Teetee does some Sawney Beans and some Dutch Passion classics

Hey @KingRatt thanks for your comments. I'm really pleased with how this grow has gone... really difficult climate, but I should have plenty in reserve to have a break over the next few months. The worst months are Jan and Feb, it gets so humid and hot then, so growing then is out of the question.
I believe football is a sport where by definiton, you use your feet to play. NOT HANDS, so I'm talking European football, or Soccer (but I hate that term too). Over here in Australia their version of Football (or Footie aka AFL) is a crazy game played in an oval field with plenty of violence... we called it Aussie Rules in the UK. They also use the term 'football' to descibe Rugby League as well, so they are a very confusing bunch.
The English language variants across the Altantic are indeed very interesting. Aluminium, Labour, Mummy are other favourite words to argue about! The amount of times I've been stuck on Wordle trying to guess a word that's spelled in Americanese!
Gotta thank @Sawney_bean for another crop of sticky bud! Cheers Bro! You're going to heaven mate!
Yeah you were saying its over 30c thats crazy for pot. I think youve done extremely well with the conditions you are dealing with! And yeah @Sawney_bean s genetics are top notch! I have an outdoor middle of winter grow going in the states and the Lecters are growing like they aint got a care in the world!

I would love to do an outdoor grow. I could have done a few years ago when we were on acreage right out in the wilds, but there was so many dangerous animals to deal with (snakes, spiders, goannas, ticks etc), not to mention any kangaroos/wallabies after an easy stone. Plenty of folk grew their own so the soil must have been good.... ancient volcanic soil. Winter is dry and sunny... perfect. I was so tempted to have a go, and kick myself for not doing so.
Good luck with yours though... a few Lecters is gonna spoil you... won't be able to go back to 'regular' Sawney bud again!

Ahh never mind about the lost bud.... normally I'd be mad as fuck but I've got so much sitting around anyway!
Just enjoying some Boomstick these last few days.... such lovely gear, Gelato sweet taste and really heavy. Joints are just fantastic, and in my vape it makes such a mess, sometimes the capsule gets jammed in the vape with all that resin sticking it together!
Just cropping my Skywalker, she's a sticky girl too, absolutely dripping with trichs... can't wait to try that when it's done!
Hope you had a good Chrissy mate!

Always a treat to my ear when someone is enjoying a strain mate. A few vape destroyers you have lol 😆 😂
Is the skywalker the pure one or the uk cheese cross?
I'm sure I sent the pure skywalker og , just curious because you are the first to grow it.. . . 😆

Take care mate and enjoy the rest of 2024.
A new breeding run for me in a few days . What a way to start a new year. Bonza.

Hi Again.
As I said in the last post, I took the Small Lecter down on day 64.
I've never cropped a plant so early, but this has been a super quick grow from word go. My first "fast auto".
I knew she was close... the last pic I took of her was on day 59 where her huge buds were bowing out to the sides...

I carried on feeding her daily, and checking the trichomes every few days.
On day 64 I took a few pics with the macro lens and checked them out on the computer...

Looking nice and sticky!
I zoomed in to get a closer look...
View attachment 1723105

Mainly cloudy with a sprinkling of amber.

I looked at another cola...

And then I saw it... a pale grey foggy look a couple of inches from the top...

BASTARD MOULD GRRRRRRRRRR.

So I took her down that night and chopped off anything suspicious.
The remainder... the surviving bud... was hung in boxes to dry.
I checked a week after only to find more bloody mould (GRRRRRR).

It was very wet gear when I chopped her, having last watered her the night before the crop. Hanging long stems thick with bud in cardboard boxes, in humid weather wasn't such a great idea.

I strapped on my loupes and ruthlessly sacrificed more bud and I think I got it all, because this evening... over 2 weeks after cropping, I checked them again, and it was all dried to 55%RH and no more mould in any of it.

Here's what I lost...

You can see how i've cut down well into healthy bud.
Luckily the mould was in the top halves of the stems. Unluckily those were the chunkiest buds.
GRRRRRRRRR.

But this is what I managed to save....
View attachment 1723108

That's all dried stems, and here's it all clipped and ready to weigh...
View attachment 1723109

Thats 114g of good solid bud, and another 7g of smaller bud.
View attachment 1723110

So thats 121g or 4.3 ounces, all jarred with Bovedas, which isn't bad considering that there's probably about 4 ounces in the bin.
Let's hope the others are mould free, they're gonna be much bigger hauls!
I'm gonna have to buy a load of Mason jars cos I've only got one left. Still got so much left from my last grow ha ha!

Cheers then.
Still a really decent amount of bud considering what you lost to mould mate..
And it looks great too :shooty: 9 weeks from start to finish is definitely a fast auto! And then with this quality, nice strains from @Sawney_bean as always!:headbang:

Hope you had a good X-Mas mate, happy New Year for tomorrow eve and all the best wishes for 2025! :dancer:I will make sure to send off the surprise package to you anytime soon! (will try tomorrow). Cheers :bighug:

Day 82 - and finally the Reeker New
Hey @hope2grow I was trying to get this post on before you came over...
Here we go then, just the Reeker left, and on day 79 I took her last proper pics....

Day 79 Reeker 03.JPG

She's a big girl.
I took advantage of the extra space and got the yoyos out to let her get max light and airflow.

and from a different angle...
Day 79 Reeker 02.JPG

She's got a nice length main cola...
Day 79 Reeker 04.JPG

and her buds are looking and smelling pretty good....

Day 79 Reeker 11.JPG

I took another look on day 82 and decided it was time for the chop. Her trichs were mainly cloudy and a few amber, and I didn't want to lose any to mould. I had taken her leaves off a couple of weeks ago, and stopped watering 2 days before the chop, and I should be OK.
The Skywalker and Nugz are in boxes still, and I haven't had any mould issues with them either.

Gotta pop out now to get some more Mason jars.
I'm still not convinced about those Grove bags, I'm old school and at weed university I was taught never to put bud in plastic bags cos the trichomes stick to the plastic more than with glass. Let me know if you think different!

I haven't noticed them sticking to the grove bags more then glass... I've had them stick to ziplock bags in the past so much that you could scrape them off with a razor and end up with scissor hash. But I feel like that had to do more with not drying enough. Anyway, this bag has been used twice and not a lot stuck to it :pass:
