@KingRatt thanks for your comments. I'm really pleased with how this grow has gone... really difficult climate, but I should have plenty in reserve to have a break over the next few months. The worst months are Jan and Feb, it gets so humid and hot then, so growing then is out of the question.
I believe football is a sport where by definiton, you use your feet to play. NOT HANDS, so I'm talking European football, or Soccer (but I hate that term too). Over here in Australia their version of Football (or Footie aka AFL) is a crazy game played in an oval field with plenty of violence... we called it Aussie Rules in the UK. They also use the term 'football' to descibe Rugby League as well, so they are a very confusing bunch.
The English language variants across the Altantic are indeed very interesting. Aluminium, Labour, Mummy are other favourite words to argue about! The amount of times I've been stuck on Wordle trying to guess a word that's spelled in Americanese!
