Indoor Teetee does some Sawney Beans and some Dutch Passion classics

Hey!
Just had an inspection, and the temps are rising. Summer's on the way, and I expect it will just get more and more infernal until Feb / March.
It's very difficult growing in the height of Summer, so I reckon I can just about squeeze another grow in before the end of the year and then take a break from Jan to March.

So with that in mind, I've just planted some magic Sawney beans....

  • Nugz G2 (Blue Nuggets x Strawberry)
  • Skywalker OG (F1 breeding stock)
  • Small Lecter (Pink Livers x Tri Kush)

Only three this time, as I want a bit of space in the tent... need some room for the hot air to circulate, plus if I go full Teetee on the Nugz and/or the Skywalker, there's some room for them to do their thing!
Small Lecter will be er... small, I guess. I've got some regular Lecter as well, but I'm not expecting this to be an easy grow what with the impending heat, so I'll save those beauties for the cooler months.

As always, I plant directly into Solo cups, with Coco soaked in EC 0.7 nutes. Covered with clingfilm and left in a dark spot. I expect to see them pop through in 3-4 days.
See you then!
A cheeky wee grow before the end of the year , noice.
That small lecter was made when I was making lecter gen1. A small sea of green type plant popped out so I pollinated it for seeds so I can cross it to another SOG plant to create another line . 😀
You have a high chance it's a normal size lecter but that chance of a small one is definitely there . All lecter are fast as funk.
The nugz are small indica type plants I haven't seen them get any bigger than
2 foot. The skywalker og I haven't had the chance to test but it's a parent to my IRN SKY and it's one of the biggest I have so it's probably the best bet for the big girl in the tent .
Let's goooooooooooooooo.

Thanks @Antonio_DutchPassion for the kind words. Just having my first puff on the vape after work, what better than some Night Queen to blur away the stresses of the day!
Thanks also @Sawney_bean for the heads up about my latest selection, I picked Small Lecter for just that... a quick grow and if Nugz is small too, that's great. That way, I can concentrate on the Skywalker, and see how big she gets! After watching @hope2grow with his sea of green grows, I can tell you now that I haven't the energy, space or privacy to deal with lots of smaller plants.... I'll fuck it up somehow!
BIG IS BEST!

Well well well.. Teetee the monster maker back on the grow :pighug::pop:

Lookin forward to this one m8.. always time to squeeze one more wee grow in isn't there lol

Day 2 - 3 plus 1
So here we go then...

Planted 3 seeds on the 7th, and 4 days later (yesterday morning) I was greeted by Skywalker OG and then the Small Lecter.
By mid afternoon, there was no sign of the Nugs G2 so I had a careful dig and found her floundering around with her helmet on. I eased it off and lifted her up above Coco level.... SHE LIVES!!!

Here they are today, day 2..... .

They all look good and are already taking off!
All lecter are fast as funk.
The nugz are small indica type plants I haven't seen them get any bigger than 2 foot.
I'm still gonna repot them into 20L airpots. I usually do this around day 12, but they may have to go in sooner if they're that speedy. The Coco's been ordered!

Cheers Hope, and having been told by @Sawney_bean that the Small Lecter and Nugz will be on the shorter side, your wise words were ringing in my head and I thought "there's always time to squeeze one more in...."

... so I decided to plant another one.... Reeker (which is a cross of Chocolate Skunk and Dr Greenthumb Haze). With a name like that, I'm guessing she'll STINK, and I've never had a chocolate flavoured strain before. What will I expect from this then Sawney?
With any luck, she'll pop up in a few days time and be just a couple of days behind the others for the rest of the grow.

I'll let you know how she gets on.... see you then!

I have a bag of chocolate haze seeds from sawney.. haven't run one. Lecter... mmmmmm.. delicious.. its definitely going in my next round.. as is the Nugz.. which I love also.. probably a bronson as well.. glad your off and runnin on the monster trail partner.

glad your off and runnin on the monster trail partner.
Good to see you back on too brother. I'll take a 2-3 month break after this grow cos it's just too hard to grow then. While you Nothern Hemispherites enjoy a chilly Chrissie, we'll be sweating our tits off.
Couldn't resist trying again for a monster this year. I reckon it'll be the Skywalker OG... I didn't realise I'm sitting on a modern classic strain... everywhere I look, people are raving about the stuff, so a nice 12 plus Oz's would be a great way to bring in the New Year.
Good luck with these fine ladies mate! :headbang:
Cheers Antonio. This is the first grow in a long long time where I've not done a Dutch Passion..... exactly 10 years ago... 28 consecutive grows!
I don't have many DP seeds, and the ones I have, I want to grow in the cooler months to get the best out of them... so that will be March I reckon.
No need to worry mate, I'll be topping up the Night Queen jars before you know it!

Just a quick update, it's day 7 for the Skywalker OG, Small Lecter and Nugz, and day 3 for the new addition to the grow, Reeker.
Day 7 & 3.JPG

The Reeker popped up after 3 days, the Skywalker and Lecter are flying away, all 3 look great.
The Nugz looks a bit battered, but I think that's because during germination, I dug her up, and pulled off a clear membrane from her cotyledons. The tiny 2nd set of leaves look fine, so I'm sure any issues from her bumpy birth will fade away in a short while.

The Coco's arrived, so I'm ready for a potential re-pot or two next weekend. Feel free to stroll on by!

Day 12 to 18 - repotting New
G'day and cheers for stopping by! I'm a bit knackered cos I was up last night watching West Ham beat Man Utd! FUCKING YES!

A lot's happened since last time, so here they were about a week ago, day 12....
Day 12 Group 1.JPG

Skywalker OG at the back, Nugz on the left, Reeker (day 8) to the right, and Small Lecter in front.

I usually repot at day 12, but I only did the Small Lecter and Skywalker OG....
Day 12 Lect.JPG

Day 12 Sky.JPG

The Nugz looked pretty bad having been damaged when I dug her out while germinating....
Day 12 Nugz.JPG

.....so I left her in the Solo cup a bit longer.

On day 15, she looked a bit better...
Day 15 Nugz.JPG

... so I repotted her that day.

Here she is today, day 18....
Day 18 Nugz.JPG

.... looking much better now.

I decided to repot the Reeker the same day as the Nugz - day 11 as she's 4 days behind the rest...
Day 11 Reek.JPG

Here's Reeker today on day 14 - looking great!
Day 14 Reek.JPG

Smnall Lecter settled in very well after repotting. Here she is on day 15....
Day 15 Lect.JPG

And today day 18... not looking too shabby - might be a big Lecter?
Day 18 Lect.JPG

I'll have to get on with some leaf tucking.

The Skywalker looked a bit pale around the edges on day 15...
Day 15 Sky.JPG

... so I upped her feed a touch. Today on day 18, she seems to have settled down and new growth looks good...
Day 18 Sky.JPG

So there we have it. They all seem to be in good shape, and starting to take off.
Nugz is back on track, but she'll be small anyway.
I have high hopes for the other 3, Skywalker OG, Small (or large) Lecter and the Reeker.
As long as the temps behave, we might have a couple of monsters.... won't be easy though - it hit 33°C last week!

See you next time, and bring your thongs!

Cheers @Antonio_DutchPassion ! Thanks for keeping an eye on my grow dude. The fat leaves on them all makes me think this will be an Incica heavy harvest!
Thinking about investing in a small portable aircon unit and ducting the air in instead of having the 6inch intake. Hopefully I can then run the exhaust at a slower speed too, and keep the noise down.
