I got that nickname from drag racing!
I was a little bit 'unconventional'.

Man it's fucking hot... mid 30's in the day and mid 20's at night. Perfect growing weather..... somewhere else far far away from here.

This current grow is doing well so far, but I'm not sure how things are gonna be for the next couple of months as the temps ramp up even more.
Here they are today on day 31...

clockwise from top left... Nugz, Small Lecter, Skywalker OG, and Reeker. All looking good!

Reeker is 4 days younger than the others, so she's really day 27 in that pic.
Here she was back on day 23...

and today, day 27...

She's doing pretty well, but I don't think she'll be a huge plant in the long run.

The Nugz had a bit of a rough start, so she's reasonably small too. Nugz and Reeker share a 800W Skyline LED.

Plenty of growth in those 4 days, and she's developing a nice structure.

Small Lecter is really going for it, and is already starting to stretch and flower.

I initially thought that this Small Lecter might be a big Lecter, but I'm beginning to think she's gonna be a fast finisher, and therefore smaller as a result.
She's got nice long stems, but there's not the bushing out of the deeper parts that I see in the Skywalker.

Talking of which, here's Skywalker on day 27...

I'm having to do a fair bit of leaf tucking to expose all the extra stems coming up from the deep.

Lots going on, and looking very healthy. I think she'll want a stronger feed soon, which is gonna be a pain in the arse.
As it is, I give the Nugz and Reeker the same EC 0.7 mix as I have given right from the start, while the Skywalker and Small Lecter are on an EC 0.8 mix. They all look very happy on their feeds, but if I up the Skywalker, that will mean 3 different mixes, and I'll have to buy an extra fucking bucket as well.

Anyway, that's brought things up to date. Next time, they should all be starting to flower.

P.S. I'm really enjoying the fruits of my last harvest, the Night Queen is such a lovely old friend, just as tasty and heavy as always, but the Boomstick is just so delicious and candy sweet, while the Condemned is super fruity/hashy.... all 3 are just perfect as far as I'm concerned.
My vape is a lot messier with this lot, but I'm loving a nice joint of one of them every night to chill out.
Toking on an unlit doob of Night Queen or Boomstick is like breathing in magic dust!

Good to hear you like my shit from the previous harvest mate. Some fruits with powerato them.
When you highlight the awesomeness of The night queen I'm defo going to breed with them .
I haven't had luck this grow , my night queen didn't make it pluss all my plants have bugs. No worries I make the most of it .

The lecter strain is defo a fast flowering plant. The "small lecter" is a different mother plant . I don't normally use pollen on different females of the same strain unless I see potential.
It's keeping a fast life cycle so that's a good thing it's not the small pheno though. Lol .

The skywalker og you have is it the breeding f1 stock or the IRN SKY "skywalker x UK cheese "

That nugz you have is the biggest I have seen . It's a sensitive veg grower but looks like you have cracked it.
It's a mephisto strain of Blue nuggets I have selected for strawberry traits and less purple

It's a nice hybrid but not too smelly
It's from the earthy/chocolate skunk. It won't hit as hard as the others mate but a nice mellow relaxing med.
I made this strain to keep my chocolate skunk going with added haze genetics. It's still f1 so there is work to be done in the future if people like it.

It's been ages since my last grow... After almost a year's break, I got 'back on the horse' at the end of last year, harvesting just over 8 ounces of Dutch Passion 'Banana Blaze' and just under 11 ounces of Sawney's 'Nightmare'

Not a bad result considering I switched the lights off for a full 7 days during week 5/6.... I got a bit panicky because of a rental inspection

We had another inspection last week, the next is due in 3 months.... TIME TO GET A FUCKING GROW ON!!!

As soon as she left, I planted 4 seeds:

1. Dutch Passion 'Night Queen' - I love this hard hitting Indica, and I was gutted to let one die during my last grow when I switched off those lights
   
2. Dutch Passion 'Lemon Kix' - I grew 8.6 ounces of this super strong, super tasty gear back in 2022 and I've been hankering for some more ever since.
3. Sawneys Beans 'Condemned' - Mango Smile Livers x Sour Orange Diesel Kush should yield some seriously fruity buds!
4. Sawneys Beans 'Boomstick' - Gelato x Deadite Kush (and Deadite is Kandy Kush x Strawberry Cheesecake) so I'm expecting some sticky sweet delights!

I don't like the paper towel method as I believe handling delicate seedlings and exposing roots to light etc can slow down initial growth, so I use my time tested 100% succesful method of planting the seeds direct in Solo cups, with Coco soaked in EC 0.7 House and Garden nutrient solution.

I covered the pots with clingfilm, left them in the dark sitting on a warming mat at 21°C, and 3 days later the Lemon Kix popped up, followed next morning by Night Queen, then Condemned and finally the Boomstick. I removed the clingfilm, left them near a sunny window for the first day to green up, and set up the tent.
That night I shoved them in the tent, all under one Skyline 400 LED at max height, which I will leave on 24/7.

Right about NOW (my Funk Soul Brothers) is the best time of year to grow, it's 'Winter' so daytime temps are up in the mid 20°Cs, and it drops to 10-15°C at night, minimal rain so the humidity levels are manageable.
Come Summer (Oct till Feb), it will be 30°C plus in the day, not dropping below 20°C at night, and the humidity shoots up.... life in the Tropics eh?
It's just not worth growing then, as the plants get heat stress the whole time and I end up losing an ounce or so due to mould.... always in the chunkiest of Colas which is soul destroying.
That's why I'm growing 4 instead of my usual 3 plants this time... should keep me going for most, if not, all of the year.... I'm hoping for somewhere between 30 and 40 ounces of prime bud, so expect a monster or two!

I'll keep the Girls in these Solo cups till around Day 12ish, then transfer them to 22L airpots with a Skyline 400 each, for the rest of the grow.
