Day 40 - Big decisions.....
Hey and welcome back, it's day 40 and they've been in flowering mode (ie 12/12 lighting) for 2 full weeks now.
Here they are as a group. I moved them around so it's the huge Jack Herer on the left, with Gorilla on the right and Purple Afghan Kush behind her....
Jack Herer is such an amazing plant. Each stem and leaf has positioned itself for maximum lighting, so she's really spread out and would take a whole tent to herself, I'm sure.
She's looking really healthy, and on only one feed a day..... if she was on a flood and drain 3-4 x daily I dread to think how she'd be!
Gorilla has picked up massively, no longer a little monkey, she's filling out like an adult chimp....
Again very lively and healthy.
Finally the PAK... the only one I've tinkered with, and see how she's slowed down in terms of height..... that's from removing the main stem fan leaves....
That's also made her a lot bushier, so loads of branching stems. I removed quite a lot of vegetation under the canopy, but she just fills out again.
She's very healthy too, so no worries.
Well kind of....
I made a big decision last night.
I reckon this grow will be done around the 2nd week of April.
2 weeks hanging to dry then 4 weeks curing in jars will bring us up to around the end of May when this lot will be ready to enjoy.
I've barely touched my (29 ounce) harvest from the last grow.... I'm still going through all that Banana Blaze and Orange Bud from way back in July 2022..... and I've still got 2 big jars left.
So I've got way over 35 ounces of gear sitting around, and this current grow will easily match that amount.
Remember at the beginning of this grow, I said we're heading back to the UK.... well that's gonna happen in the next 3 months for sure, so what's the point carrying on with this???
All I'm doing is increasing my chances of fucking everything up.... I certainly don't wanna get busted growing at this late stage of the game, and if I continue through to harvest, I'm only gonna be tempted to sell it off, which again is a risky business with plenty of fuck up potential.... sure, it will pretty much pay for all our moving expenses, but I can't take the risk.
So that's it folks.... lights are off, no more feeds. Shame as this was shaping up to be an epic grow.
1st thing I'm gonna do when we get home is do some superfast Sawney beans and get back on the horse!

I think it the wisest decision you can make now, good luck with the move and definitely hit me up once you get back in the UK
