New Grower Northern Cheese Haze - RDWC - Stealth Closet - First Grow Journal

@Mañ'O'Green 3/4 plants look pretty healthy, however some minor issues are coming up.

The nutrient mix has been diluted over the week from 500ppm down to 200ppm (100 over tap) but I am still seeing some yellowing of the tips on the back right plant, furthermore one of the leaves has proceeded to yellow further. Not sure how to proceed, any tips? Photos attached of some issues I noticed this morning.
I pruned that weird growth on front left just in case. All plants bounced back well from defoliation.

Brief report on environment:
Nutes 200PPM @ 70f , measured at 5.2 ph, added PH up with ph'd water this morning to ammend back to 5.8. (possible cause for discoloration?)
75f ambient, 55%rh
Light 340w @ 18-12" (back right, the one with issues stretched much more than the others this week)

You hit the nail on the head 5.2 PH is lock-out territory. 100PPMs of nutes is too low. You need to learn how to be a little more consistent. It is an art that is learned. You will get there.

Should I up the PPM with a new nute mix or should I wait for the yellowing tips to subside? Not sure how the PH got that low, I guess I wasnt being diligent enough yesterday!

Up the nutrients. remind me again what nutes you are using?

Full GH Flora Line, currently feeding week 4 transition nutes from your nutrient schedule. Last mix went in at 500ppm and still had some nute burn at the tips, its only been 4 days and its eaten most of it. Whats left in the res is currently reading 230 ish.

Go up to 400PPMs Flower and watch the PH closely. When the plants kick in to true flower the roots exude substances that drop the PH in the res and that is likely what happened to you. The tip burn was probably from previous nutes not a new problem. once burned it does not go away. The new tip burn may be PH related. DWC is by far the most difficult to master but it is very rewarding once you get it. You are doing better than most noobs. Did you study Liebig's Law? Keeping the various components NPK in balance is part and parcel to hydroponics.

Yes I read up on Liebigs law!
I will mix up 400 ppm flower nutes now. Only issue is I might not be able to put it in until tomorrow, only have 10 gallons that have aired out, but the system holds about 15. Should still run with 10 but eh... not sure if that will be hard on the roots?

Thanks for the kind words. I am a doctoral student and try and do my best research before I do anything. Did quite a bit research into this build and grow. I am pleased with how its going and the support from you and others here has been invaluable in makin this progress.

Yes I would wait until you have the water you need. I have to run catch you later.
