New Grower Northern Cheese Haze - RDWC - Stealth Closet - First Grow Journal

Are these autos? If so you need to stop the scrog attempt or you will mess up the colas.
Yes these are autos, and okay, I wasnt sure when to stop! I will not touch them again... Or should I undo the LST/Tucking I did today?
Also will she bounce back from the stem break you think?

Don't undo now but don't do any unnecessary LST now.

I keep paraffin grafting tape around for broken stems. I have not lost any yet. I have seen people use all manor of tape and it worked for them so I say you have a good chance of continued growth.

Awesome! Ill keep you updated. No more LST now!

@Mañ'O'Green how are we looking on the pre flower front ? How long would you say until switching nutes to preflower ? Just wondering ! I am starting to see more and more of what you shared in that earlier photo on the right side. Left side plants are lagging a bit behind

Was thinking maybe continued clawing is due to nitrogen surplus since they are nearing preflower (which I understand needs less N)

If you were a horse I'd be pulling back so hard on the reins your head would be turned backwards........... Whoooe there. The amount of nitrogen the plant stops up-taking in flower is very small indeed. Many growers feed the same formula all the way from seed to harvest with great results. The N problem you displayed was not because the plant needs less you simply provided too much and in order to get the water the plant needed it had to bring in the excess N.

It has been 1 day since we talked about pre-flower nutrients - not yet!. I am going to be off-line until Sunday evening. Post some new pictures of the girls on Sunday and I will look then.

@Mañ'O'Green Here is an update!
Right side has some beautiful little buds popping up. Left side is lagging behind a bit, but starting to show a bit as well!
Humidity in the tent is rising up to 60%, just purchased a dehumidifier for when its time for flowering and drying.
New growth no longer has clawing, nutes have been slowly decreasing, sitting around 250ppm now.
Two question for you:
1. Thoughts on when its time to change to next batch of nutes?
2. Thoughts on defoliation? I believe this would be the time if ever. Got some seriously thick brush and some small bud sites hiding underneath. If I do I would go easy starting from bottom going up, just removing any bud sites that wont receive light and removing only a few leaves which are blocking bud sites.

Yes you can move into transition nutes now.

I use to do a lot of defoliation and training but I don't bother with it anymore with autos. I top at the fourth node and just let them grow. I might be loosing a little yield but I already get all I can use. Now with Sativa photos I will mainline them and defoliate below the support. I will be growing the new Dinafem Cookies strains next. They are primarily Indica so I may treat them like autos.

The Cheese Autos were freebies.

Filled the rez with pre-flower mix, 550-600PPM. Engaged in a bit of defoliation, removing large fans that covered up clusters of possible bud sites. Will tend to the underside and remove small popcorn-bud sites next week, take it easy and try not to stress them too much.
Photos attached. Not too heavy on the leaf removal, just enough to increase light penetration.

@Mañ'O'Green SOS , yellowing tips on new growth!
500PPM - Preflower nutes
6.2 PH
72F Nutrient Res
16" Light to canopy
55%RH

Photos attached, mainly effecting two plants on right side. One leaf on back side of this same (back right) plant have browned

I am going to make my own diagnosis of LIGHT STRESS! I I will adjust light to 18". Thoughts?

Not light burn nutrient strength too high. This is not serious but back off on the nutrient strength if you have not already.
