So I'm wondering if/how i could do this:
I want to set up an automatic watering system with earthboxes using living soil. So, I need the res to fill after its been dry for just a little bit. So something that would trigger say a 4 hour timer when the res was empty before it filled. Is this feasible?
Last I talked to them about it tho it (at the time) was supposed to be run from the garden hose spigot outside! Not sure if u could do indoors using a pump! You’d need 1 that would stay on 24/7 but only run when the float thing opens to fill the reservoir! Not sure what kinda pump that would be!
I thought it was a measurement of space x time x donuts but theres a good chance I've been stoned whenever I've seen it pop up and I'm a big fan of donuts
I know, just kind of an example, I mean i don't measure it like that. I just check everyday and wait until I notice the reservoir is dry and assume its been at least a few hours. Just stoned thoughts of how I could do it without soil going dry or anaerobic if I left for a week. They have an auto watering system but im pretty sure it keeps them full the whole time
