Wow that's everything I always wondered about hash production in one place! In 1981 I got to participate in a fresh brick of Afghani hash with a government seal on it in real gold leaf. Maybe now I'll be able to duplicate it (the hash, not the gold leaf).

Back then, probably one of our first port calls was in Karachi Pakistan, we bought a shoe box full of black hash with a carton of marlboros(7$ back then) boy were we messed up for a week straight, 24/7 and we barely put a dent in that shoebox full, LOL !!!!!!
